Nice, Chunky Charging Handle
Fit and finish is excellent, this charging handle was exactly what I was looking for at a fantastic price.
A bit more chunky than other common choices but this fits just right.
Shipping was a little slow but overall I recommend Optics Planet for their huge selection and great prices.
Fortis Charge Handle Hammer in silver finish is a great buy

Better Than I Thought
The only aftermarket charging handles I'd ever bought were Armaspec and Breek Arms. This Fortis handle is so much smoother and positive-engagement than those.

Installed this charging handle and when I used it the first time it was so smooth, I needed to double check I had charged the AR correctly. Love it

Great Product
Great Product well built, the color was nice, much better than the CH that came with my gun. It may be a little"blingy"mfor some but just the part if you're looking to add a little color to your weapon.

Workhorse build
This thing is beefy. There is no flex and once i cycled 50 times, lubricated the wear marks ( nothing unusual just normal metal to metal wear) and the cycled 50 more it started to smooth out. Now its cycling like butter. Two Radian charging handles I have were similar. Now they are smooth as silk. I expect the same for this piece. The finger purchase is solid and very stable when you rip it back. I bought this because it is Fortis and all of the Fortis gear ive ever used is top notch. This handle is no exception and it has a thick, rugged look that you just know will stand up to whatever you throw at it. Its square but all of the edges are curved and rounded for less snagging. Well machined, great finish, super functional and a distinct look. Two thumbs up.

great add on to my Ar
I got this charging handle in gray so it matches my butt stock, pistol grip and rail . I love it looks great it’s a lot better than the stock one .. it’s a little pricey though I had $20 OpticsPlanet bucks so I got mine for 40 ….
