Great option and beautiful design
For the guy who said he got a left handed handle... you charge left handed so your RIGHT hand doesn't leave the trigger. Hence right handed on the package. Perfect addition for lightweight and low profile builds.

misleading Title discription
The charging handle is very well made but the description is deceiving. Unless I was shipped a mismarked item, I expected my right hand to do the charging. That is not the case. Everything about this item is left, latch and charging are for your left hand. Also, the FDE match is way off. Disappoin...

exactly what I wanted
Great part and great service. Works great, fits perfectly and looks better.
Pros:
- Perfect Fit
Cons:
- None

aesthetically pleasing, not practical.
I picked this up for a wwsd inspired build. It is beautiful in design and fuctions well as intented. the problem os in the length and aggressive angle and tip of the clutch handle. Upon slinging your rifle into your body, this will immediately dig into you and cause discomfort if wearing plain clothing or catch on gear if you are tactical larping. I think it is great for a range or mabye competition only rifle, but in an situation where you are going to carry your rifle on your body for any distance, it is very impractical.

Clutch Charging Handle
Works great. Awesome design for one hand charging. Pay attention to weather it’s right hand charging vs. left hand.

Solid Non-Ambi Charging Handle
I like this handle a lot. Its sturdy enough on the left side that you can cross over with your hand and use the palm method to pull it back. I like the look of it and that doesn't feel flimsy.
Pros:
- solid
- Build
Cons:
- Not Ambi
Best Used for:
- Charging a AR
Would recommend: Yes
Very sturdy, good for using the palm method
I got it because my mil spec charging handle was too small and it was getting in the way of an offset rear sight I had mounted on the left. This charging handle has remedied both of those issues. I like the asymmetric look of it and I don’t mind it not being ambidextrous because the mechanism is so sturdy it’s easy enough to palm, even with the left.
Pros:
- Sturdy
- Ease Of Use
Cons:
- not ambidextrious
Best Used for:
- Right handed shooters with big hands.
Would recommend: Yes
All you really need
I absolutely love these. Aggressive latch feels fantastic to manipulate. The redesigned latch pin will stand up to heavy use, such as when mortaring. I think you'll love this thing regardless if you are a right or left handed shooter since Fortis makes one for either side. The Fortis Clutch charging handle is well worth the buy.

charging handle
I have racked it probably 100 times the a little of play but not as bad as factory or other after market handles. The color matches must anodized parts. Great handle overall. It is extended and very easy to use

Only issue is the description…
I might be an outlier but “right handed” didn’t work for me. I assumed “right handed” meant the handle was on the right side, instead it’s on the left. I generally charge AR’s using my dominant hand as the bladed body position makes doing so more natural. Otherwise the construction and aesthetics are all well done, only wish I had noticed that I’m charging my weapon differently than most! I wish the description would directly state which side the handle is on, or better make it modular so you could choose whichever works best for you. So if you charge your weapon using your dominant hand, select the opposite side.
Pros:
- Exactly what it says it is
Cons:
- confusing description
