Great Product
Super easy to install and crazy light. Looks great on my 10.5 inch AR build. Optics Planet knows what they are doing when it comes to business. They have the best prices out there on the market. Can’t complain
Perfect for Vortex Spitfire 5x
It sets the vortex spitfire back just the right distance so I can comfortably use the optic. The absolute co-witness puts the optic height at roughly the same position as the vortex OEM high mount.

Fantastic build quality.
Bought this in FDE, and am very impressed with it. It's an absolute co-wit, so it lines up with your iron sights. Build quality is wonderful, totally recommended if you're looking for this size of optics mount.

Very lightweight, strong and matches Magpul FDE furniture
I mounted this on my AR with a Sig Romeo 5 optic. It has blocks for locking into the Aimpoint T1 style bases as well as M1913 rail slots where it attaches to the rail system. This results in minimizing any back and forth play of your optic. It also comes with a tube of blue loctite! I have not taken it to the range yet, but I have no doubt that it will hold a zero like a champ given the construction quality and dual screw rail mount system. It matches my Magpul FDE furniture very closely as well.

Awesome part
The Fortis F1 optic mount is very well machined. The finish is super nice. This mounted to my gibbz upper very well and holds my holosun red dot perfectly. My only gripe would be that it should come in a few more colors. Other than that, I think it's perfect.

Fortis RED DOT MOUNT
Mount is high quality and looks great. No necessary bulk and worked great with my Aimpoint red dot. If your want to keep your AR LITE this is a good choice. A little pricey but quality parts are worth it. OPTICS PLANET was the only distributor who had it in stock
