great charging handle!
This charging handle looks great with an AR-10 stainless barrel build with a nickel boron bolt carrier group. I highly recommend this handle. I am going to have to try more parts by fortis manufacturing in the future.

horrible feel and glide.
This charging handle is just awful. It will tear your hands apart and besides that, it doesn't have a smooth action when charging. I swapped it out for a Geissele. Geissele is my personal favorite. Radian Raptor second... Fortis makes good hand rails IMHO but this "Hammer" offering is just an abomi...

Doesn't latch
I decided to start building an AR-10 308 and the charging handle looks great but doesn't latch. I'm using an aero S-one complete upper which makes this very disappointing i. Not sure if its the charging handle that is to blame or the upper but ive never had a problem with my AR-15 uppers and handles. I've waited months to put this gun together what aet down

Fortis Charging Handle
Love this charging handle. You get a much better purchase on the grip when charging. The machinery is perfect as is just about everything Fortis manufactures. If I had to change one thimg it would be to make it ambidextrous due to the price, but either way I'm 100% satisfied with my purchase and love this charging handle!

- aesthetically pleasing
- Machine Quality
- Makes charging the weapon smoother and much more fluent
- Just about everything you could want in a charging handle
Cons:
- Not ambidextrous with the price point
