Rascal's Review of Fortis Manufacturing Hammer AR10 Charging Handle

This charging handle is just awful. It will tear your hands apart and besides that, it doesn't have a smooth action when charging. I swapped it out for a Geissele. Geissele is my personal favorite. Radian Raptor second... Fortis makes good hand rails IMHO but this "Hammer" offering is just an abomination.... seriously.
Pros:
  • you are now forewarned
Cons:
  • you actually showed interest in this thing
Best Used for:
  • replacing with a better C.H. and or using as an example of what a charging handle should NOT be.
