This really is a great combat knife and probably a so so to good "survival" knife. I've seen it perform well in TOPS's own abuse video. I believe this knife is cryogenically treated, making it extra tough so don't just look at blade steel and decide on that alone. This is a great stabber and the handle is great with or without gloves. There is a nice guard that will really help you stab hard and not allow your hand to slip forward. This guard works. Some i feel are more for looks and can hurt your hand. This one does not hurt your hand and it does work. It also has 2 holes in it for 550 cord. You could really jack someone up with the pry bar end of the handle as well. Blade came pretty sharp, which is nice because many people complain about TOPS knives not coming sharp from the factory. This one was, though it could also be improved. This is not so much a "slashing" type of blade as it's more of a stabber but that is fine with me. It does have a choil which is nice for giving a bit better control when wood working. I did buy this to be more of a combat knife to go on a kit as opposed to relegating it to survival knife status. If you want a survival knife for chopping and battoning... this isn't your knife. You could batton with it but it's a lighter knife which has pro's and cons. The lighter weight PRO is self explanatory. The con is that it's not a good chopper. Just know what you're getting here. My designated "survival" knives are my Work Tuff Gear Lanzeta's. Those are gr

Mine shoots the match ammo i've tested 0.65" for 5 or more shots every time if not better. Had 9 consecutive shots in a 0.6" group 2 weekends ago. This rifle is an amazing piece of modern manufacturing. 8 caliber conversions i believe. It's a no brainer if you ask me. Stock folds over the bolt so you don't have to remove when storing in the AWESOME Pelican that comes with it. Pelican has magazine cut outs... spots for bipod, silencer and optic. Trigger is nice... everything about this rifle is nice. It's not even that heavy... not compared to the competition rifles people use these days.

This is a really great barrel. I have it and it's a half MOA barrel or better when you do your part. Many veterans will swear by Proof Research barrels as well as myself. I've seen the reviews on other websites. I was getting about 3,020fps with Norma golden target match ammunition out of this barrel at about 5k ft elevation in moderate temperatures. I believe when i ran the numbers, you are still supersonic out to a mile with this thing which is unbelievable. I can't remember which of my 6.5CM rifles i compared it to... maybe it was the slower Tikka Tac A1 but essentially there was 10ft LESS drop at 1,000 yds with 6mm CM than there is with 6.5mm CM. There is also purportedly 20% less recoil. The recoil IS in fact noticeably less, which is a great thing. I took it out to North Springs shooting range in Price, UT and before my AR10 started having FTF and FTE issues i went 3 for 3 on the 10" gong at 1,003 yds. Last weekend i put a different rifle length AR10 stock instead of the carbine length with JP Silent Capture Spring i had been using and trying to make work. So with the new, rifle length lower and traditional buffer and spring, i didn't have any issues in 15 rds save the first rd fired didn't fully eject but that's likely because the rifle was dirty. After that, the other 14 rds fired flawlessly with a good ejection pattern of 3:30. I do have the JP adjustable gas block on the rifle. My barrel came with the gas tube (rifle plus 3") and yours should too. I've spoken with

This is a very light weight hunting scope with more magnification range than most "hunting" scopes offer and exceptionally clear glass, that really IS worthy of the "Razor" name. I think i saw a review that said the glass wasn't up to par. I have no idea what in the world that reviewer is talking about. I own NF ATACR, Steiner, Bushnell Elite Tactical XRS 2, Burris and Vortex Razor and this LHT Razor has EXCEPTIONAL glass quality. Like i said in the beginning, it is very, very light as well. That's about where i'll stop praising it though. I mean capped turrets are kind of a must for hunting so i'll give it that but the reticle is very thin/fine to the point of being a little difficult to find, especially with a dark background. This is NOT a tactical scope !! Reticle is way too fine for that, meaning if you have to make fast transitions, this reticle will not serve you well but it will for stationary targets. Also, while it may not be "flimsy" it kind of FEELS that way. As in, if i fall and this lands on boulder... i think i'm going to be screwed kind of a feeling. I don't feel that way with a NF ATACR. Also, as many others on a military site i belong to have said, the illumination mechanism is "chincy". I'll take the weight savings over robustness for this kind of hunting optic, as i understand the trade off and its benefit. I also love the price, especially when on sale... but the illumination mechanism is really lame IMHO. If you're shooting at dusk or dawn you will likel

This knife has it all: great steel, great edge, great edge retention, great length, great blade geometry and tip, great overall weight and feel, great handle, great sheath. This SOF vet HIGHLY recommends this knife. Great price too, here at Optics Planet. If you want a great little fighting blade.. this one hits the mark.

Shot a 0.47MOA 5 shot group at 750 yds using this optic (with Mil-Xt reticle) on my Tac A1 in 6.5CM. Buying another for PRS competition going on a 6mm CM build.

Really like my XRS II. This looks like an improvement over that with the bigger 56mm objective lens for a bigger site picture and better eye box for competition and hunting. The EQL reticle looks fantastic. The glass on my XRS 2 was really good. I may just have to purchase this scope at this price over another NF ATACR at twice the price.

I bought this thing to put on my Beretta 1301 Competition shotgun. I didn't do a lot of shopping around as this was cheap and i wanted to give it a try. I like it so far but i wish maybe it was a bit more snug. Having said that, i don't have anything to compare it against. I like that the portion that carries the shells is velcro and can be removed without having to take the whole thing off.

Like another reviewer said, "It looks like it belongs there". Really well made and the cherry on top is that it has silicone padding so your barrel and tube don't get all jacked up. HIGHLY recommend. Fits my 1301 Competition 24" real nice.

I recently bought the 1301 Competition 24" for a variety of reasons. The shot gun is phenomenal. Last night i installed the Lancer plus 4 extension tube so i could get 9+1. This evening it was snowing pretty good here in Utah but i didn't care... i was chomping at the bit to go do a live fire function test. I drove up into the mountains with my wife. She stayed in the truck as it was snowing pretty bad outside. I loaded the 9+1 and fired off all 10 about as fast as i could. I was really, really surprised how fast and how smooth the whole setup worked and fired. At that point i was done and put the shotty in the back of the truck and got back in the drivers seat. I said to my wife, "honey i couldn't believe how fast that thing fires". She said, "was that three"??? I said, "no honey, that was 10". She didn't believe me. THAT is how fast this thing can run... THAT makes me very happy indeed. I cut my spring at 16&1/4" past the tube.
Points of note: with the +4 Lancer extension tube, i also installed a GG&G picatinny slot with sling attachment AND the Lancer barrel/tube clamp. The GG&G item seem to be very secure and the Lancer barrel clamp is really awesome. I got mine without picatinny because i wanted it further back, hence the GG&G piece. Lancer barrel clamp is highly recommended. It seems very sturdy and has silicone padding inside so your tube and barrel don't get jacked up.... unlike some others.
All in all i couldn't be more pleased with everything.
