Frankford Arsenal Media Transfer Magnet
I, not unlike most guys with even a small shop have an assortment of magnets, large and small. I used to use the magnets that I have in my shop with no problems removing the media pins from the cleaned brass. I purchased the Frankford magnet after I had cleaning and seperating the pins from 20 loads of brass threw
the Frankford wet brass tumbler only after reading the reviews on this tool. I have to admit I would have saved alot of time if I would have purchased it with the tumbler. Live amd learn. PS Works great to clean
up the steel trimmings after using the drill press also.

Works Great!
This thing saved me at least ten minutes and a bunch of water for each brass wash I do. I used to try to get the media out/off of every piece of brass, now I just run this thing over it a few times and transfer the media back into the wash cylinder.

Time Saver
When it arrived I was just getting ready to tumble some brass. After it was done dumped the brass on a towel and then used the magnet to remove the pins before I put the brass on the dryer. When done there was only three pins in the dryer that the magnet missed. Very good results I think.

Useful product
Nice to have removing the tumbling media from the brass. Works as expected and simple to use. Only can hold so much media which makes for more passes to separate it.

This is a great tool to have, it removes the Stainless steel media from the brass with ease. I dump the brass and Stainless steel media into a plastic pail stick the Frankford Arsenal Reloading Tools Media Transfer Magnet into the bucket move it around a little and pull it out, you probably will have this more than once. This tool is one of three Frankford Arsenal Reloading Tools I have they all work great.

Fantastic item
Really helps to collect all the stainless steel media. When collecting media just have minimum amount of wet solution in the bucket so that you will not have to submerged whole magnet into the wet material. Brass comes out really clean, even primer pockets. Still clean in a corncob media first, in a vibratory tumbler first to get most of the dirt off.

Functionallity of the Frankford Arsenal Magnet.
There are other cheaper magnets out there but this is the very best. No more lost Stainless Steel media. A couple of my reloading buddies also purchased the same item and they are as pleased as I am with the effectiveness. This magnet is very strong for the size.

I bought this because I had just purchased the Frankford Tumbler and wanted a way to easily tansfer, and pick up, the metal media. It has a polycarbonite top...mine arrived broken so the spring is useless, but this thing does exactly what it's supposed to do...even mine. I called Optics Planet and they said they would gladly replace it, but I didn't want to go through the hastle. GREAT COMPANY!! It does exactly what you want it to do... It picks up media from the smallest to the largest places and the round shape fits perfectly inside the tumbler's opening...I'm able to find, and tansfer ALL the media quickly. I liked it so much I just purchased another one for my son... pick one up...it makes "media management" easy.

An essential tool
You have to buy this tool if you own the stainless steel media and rotary tumbler. The magnet picks up the pins and drops them with a pull of the handle. The magnet is designed so that it can be operated with one hand. The device fits into the opening at the end of the drum. One pull and the pins are dropped. It so also very good for picking up stray "escapee" pins as they will wind up all over the place. The design is genius.
