BFSIII AK-C1 Trigger - Binary Firing System for AK Platforms
Depending on what ak model you have will depend on how easy to install. I have a micro draco stamped receiver. Had to do a little grinding to get trigger down flat in receiver. Once installed this thing operated flawless. never over worked the trigger. Love shooting it in binary.
Most Helpful Negative Review
I pre-ordered this before all the disclaimers were posted
I really wanted a binary trigger for a 7.62x39 AK. I figured that it wouldn't work in the Vepr 12. But it doesn't fit in my Vepr 7.62x39 AK or my Arsenal SAM7 SF without grinding down a protuberance that juts up just behind the trigger opening on the bottom of the receiver. I wasn't willing to do t...

Flawless Working Order on PSA AKV-9
TL;DR: fits like a glove into the PSA AKV-9 with ease. Semi-easy install, no jams/misfires after 1,000rnds
Longer version: I was a bit hesitant after reading the negative reviews on how well this will work, but after using it myself and going over it with some tedious manner, it hasn't failed me at all. The only few problems I ran into while installing, but to get the main thing out of the way, there is a rivet at the bottom of the receiver that sits underneath the item. If it's sticking up, you'll have to cut it down until it's flush or just barely. If not, the trigger will sit at an angle and will cause damage to the thing. Fortunately, PSA already cut the rivet down, so I didn't have to.
The other issue was the hammer. It was ever so slightly misaligned and took a bit of fiddling before it finally got in. When pushing that pin in for the hammer, push down on the right side of the hammers spring while pushing the pin at the same time for it to fully go through.
Next, was the retaining pin for the hammer, which the AK-9 I have has a blind spot, so it was really more of feeling around until it 'clicked' in and a bunch of awkward head tilting and light adjusting.
The third was the selector switch. Which I thought it'd be as simple as putting it on 'safe' and then tightening down to be done. Not quite. Put it on safe, tighten down, then on 'single fire', tighten again, then on 'binary', tighten down again. Then it'll all click together just fine.

Awesome trigger
Works great in saiga style ak. Had to shortened handle screw. No break in , 200 rounds not a single issue. Make sure to use lube that is provided.

Fits the Century Arms Nak9
Install is straight forward if you read the instructions. Trigger feels better (shorter pulls) than factory trigger. This binary trigger real brings a Nak9 to life

Franklin armory binary trigger
Its a great product but instructions and instructional video kind of suck. They are very vague as to what models it is compatible with and now i have to experiment with it myself and see which one of my aks it will drop into. Im about to do some dremel work on my draco see if i can get it in if not its going on a m85 and hopefully it'll find its forever home

Franklin AK binary trigger
My Shooting buddy was nice enough to purchase me a binary trigger from Franklin Armory, when I received the unopened package from him, I opened it up and noticed that the product had already been opened by somebody else, anyway, I work on guns, and this thing did not work as per Franklin armory, they were very nice I mean, exceptionally nice, trying to help me get this to work, to no avail sincerely, mick

Does not fit ZPAP M92
Don’t waste your time and money. Needs modifications to either the grip screw or the hammer retaining pin, they are to far apart and holes don’t line up. I spent several hours attempting an install and I don’t want to heavily modify the receiver for a “drop in trigger.“
Pros:
- None
Cons:
- waste of time
Best Used for:
- Garbage

Light primer strikes
After wasting hundreds of rounds adjusting this trigger I finally got it to run correctly for a few mags. Then after a few months I went to shoot with rifle and it was back to square one. It was once again jamming with light primer strikes. The spring seems too weak compared to factory spring. Don’t waste your time or money

Nifty little piece
I like to practice "controlled pairs" as I learned in the Army. When set on binary, landing hits quickly and closely to one another is MUCH easier. The trigger itself looks pretty sturdy and should last some time. I would like to point out that the AK platform one I bought is a bit tough with fitting and the such. Also don't count on using some handles/furniture, such as a Hera Stock, and maybe some Magpul hardware as well.

arrived used and broken
arrived used and broken. normally id just get a replacement but apparently optics planet will not refund or replace this item. i am unsure why but not happy that i just bought a used paper weight. the construction is poor and relies on a pretty small c clip looking spring to hold it in place. pretty sure im going to get a trigger i wont have to worry about as this one not only has design flaws but bad quality control to the point distributors wont refund or replace and items in sealed packaging are sent out with used parts from the manufacturer. very displeased with this purchase. luckily it wasnt a set of nvgs i couldnt return. yet this paper weight is still the price of a glock.
Pros:
- None
Cons:
- Broken
- non refundable
- non replaceable
Best Used for:
