More expensive answer to the speed strip. Need to use with nickel cased cartridges to avoid corrosion. These are the only downsides. Makes for easy reload in the shoot two load two drill. A very well made piece of kit. Should last for years. Alot harded to misplace compared to speed strips.

Good leather and nice workmanship. Well thought out product. It’s a perfect fit for my 1 7/8” wide belt. 357 mag and 38 special cartridges fit just right. Galco stuff is usually good and this is no exception. I like it, just what I wanted.

Very strong and durable. Keeps tightly in pouch. Very handy when I carry my 44mag on me.I would highly recommend when using for hunting. I wish they would make one to hold 10 rounds or stiche 2 together.

I like this ammo carrier by Galco however, I own several ammo carriers for revolvers by various makers and over time, I find that I like the DeSantis version better. This Galco model looks great and goes very well with the matching Galco belt.
Two things need some improvement. One small thing is that the ammo retainers are not as tight as I would like. Also, the belt needs to be worn tight or the ammo holder can slide out when unsnapped.
Revolvers seem to be getting a bit more popular lately. It is still harder to find good revolver ammo carriers vs. semi-auto ammo carriers. This carrier is a good piece of gear but it requires some care and getting used to it to avoid dropping ammo.
When matched with the Galco belt, this makes a very handsome and classy carry combination.
Cons:
- Ammo holders could be tighter

I think these little carrier's are a great way to carry a few extra revolver rounds. Makes for fairly quick reloads, and is nice and compact. Galco's quality is what you'd expect, decent. These are a little pricey, but no one else really makes them.

Ad is confusing. Looks like you are getting 2 of these. It is compact, would only work well on the Galco heavy belts (which I have) but at almost $40 it pales in comparison the the $80 SA0142 Holster I bought. At $20 I would recommend.
Otherwise - nice piece, well made, well designed, just too darned expensive.

Excellent product; Galco's choice of leather and the fit and finish are up to the usual high Galco standards. A nice way to carry six rounds of ammo, especially for those who don't like the bulk of the usual speed loader or the carrying of loose rounds in a pocket. The carrier is not as fast as using a round speed loader, but with the rounds grouped in two's and slanted away from each other, a reload is reasonably quick. Also, it lays flat to the belt, even when carrying 6 rounds. The carrier securely attaches to the belt, and stays in place even when opened for a reload. I use a double thick gun belt (1 1/2" wide) and even though the carrier doesn't have belt loop slots, it doesn't move. Other companies make similar carriers, but Galco has always been good for me.

Another fine product from Galco. Top quality leather and finish. Tan color is especially nice. This unit easy to install on a belt. Innovative design pulls up from under the belt so no loop needed. Holds six cartridges in pairs. Very nice

Purchased to accompany Ruger Redhawk, and Galco holster on my SB2 belt.
As usual top quality from Galco. You'll initially have to break the carrier in
by loading it with six cartridges closing it on your belt, and kneading the top
flap towards the closing snap to streach it a bit. Makes closing the carrier flap
easier, then leave it on your belt a few days. Works very well.
