well built runs small
this is a very well built item. quality leather high end canvas. needs to things. keeper for any excess on the tongue when belted. secondly, they do run small. i am a 48 waist and the largest size says goes to 50. I am tight in the very first hole in the belt. Great item , just be aware it runs small .

Excellent quality cartridge belt.
I must admit that I had my doubts about this belt, until I received it. The leather and cotton are of the finest quality and the buckle is solid brass. There is a strip of elastic sewn inside the cartridge loops to help hold the cartridges in place. The cartridge loops fit my. 375 H&H perfectly. I would highly recommend this belt, the materials and craftsmanship are top notch.
Pros:
- Materials and craftsmanship
Cons:
- None that I could find
Best Used for:
- hunting

Just what I was looking for, love it!
I should have bought one of these long ago. Very nice quality, it will hold quite a few different cartridges with the inner elastic liner inside the cartridge pockets. Holds firmly but still easy to access. I have several Galco products and all have been superb.Looking forward to using it in Namibia.

Great carrier for big bore ammo
I bought this to carry 45-70 Gov't ammo for hunting in N America. Great way to have extra ammo readily available. I bought the XL and I'm happy with the fit. I'm a 38" waist and the shortest hole fit me well (while wearing a t-shirt). This is meant to be worn over clothing and slightly above the belt line with the buckle being in the small of the back. The leather square with the Cape Buffalo then is front and center. The leather is firm but flexible and the canvas reminds me of Carhartt double-front logger pants (tough and all-weather). I intentionally got the XL if I felt like wearing it over one shoulder like a bandoleer.
Pros:
- Durable.
- Convenient, look good, nice quality
- Well-made.
Cons:
- None.
Best Used for:
- hunting
- carrying big bore ammo

Safari belt
This is a replacement culling belt and I wish it had been the 1st I bought. The leather is unmatched. The actual shell-holders betray the fact that their commercial grade cotton construction as they're tough yet flexible and adaptable. My intention is to use this belt for both 375 and 416. It receives and holds both well and in rotation - the pockets can adapt and change.
While it hasn't made the big trip yet, I've used it extensively and look forward to a successful safari with it in 2016.

Culling Belt
Nice belt although a bit pricy for what you get. Not happy that this website offers free shipping to everyone in the U.S. but us folks up here in Alaska.
