I purchased this holster and bandolier for a Ruger SuperRedhawk .44 Mag pistol (7.5" barrel) that I wanted to carry as backup while bowhunting black bear. I was very pleased with the quality of this holster/bandolier setup, and it performed very well for me in the field. The straps can be adjusted so that it rides where you want it...which was very important for me as a bowhunter. While hunting, I was able to have the gun/holster ride under my arm and out of the way of my bow while at full draw and not interfere with the operation of the bow or my shooting. KHB34H Bandolier

Bandolier was on backorder for quite sometime. Finally received and both the fit and color match is what I expected for my Kodiak holster. Using this setup for both my Anaconda and XVR. The KHB34H says it holds BOTH .44mag and .460SW ammo but I won't dare force the .460 shells all the way or probably won't get them out so Galco lose one star. Also, my Kodiak cylinder location and this bandolier location creates an interference with loading/removing cartridges where the brass will scratch my Kodiak...may not be an issue with shorter/smaller cartridges...but forces me to load/remove ammo from the other upside down direction. This issue is why Galco lose another star and I give total of only 3 stars... but both issues are not bad enough to return the bandolier in my opinion.

This Kodiak Galco ammo bandolier fits the Galco Kodiak holster that I recently purchased through Optics Planet great. The ammo holders hold the ammo really well. I own several Galco Gun Leather products and they are of excellent quality. I have purchased numerous items from Optics Planet and I am always 100% satisfied with there customer service.

Galco Kodiak

I did have to sew and extension into the trigger strap, I guess it was a factory defect and I didn't want to pack everything up and ship it back. All is well and it's one beautiful piece of leather!

Nice and Tight

The S&W 500 magnum is a large round, and this bandolier securely holds 5 with easy access. Much more practical than lugging around 10 - 15 rounds on a waist belt.
