Anyone over 60 with even slightly failing eyes will love this thing. It fits invisibly in any pocket on a shirt or in pants. A Very Good Pocker Magnifier

This is a well made pocket magnifier having sufficient power for its intended purpose. Its slim design and protective leather case make carrying it in your pocket easy almost to the point of not knowing it's there. It will serve me well for years to come.

Galco Magnifying Loup

Over the years I have bought three of these magnifying single lense with case. One for myself and two as gifts.
I cary mine to gun and knife shows. The glass lense is 100% better than plastic magnifying instraments. this
lense is perfectly clear from the middle right to the very edge. Please don't change anything. I have carried mine
for 18 or more years.

Multiple Reasons

I was motivated to purchase the magnifying glass for multiple reasons. Nostalgic: I remember being fascinated by a like item in grade school science class. Practical: I am older and even with glasses it is hard to see some small items. Not so practical: I do not camp as much as in the past, and I have other means of starting a fire, but if you have sunshine and a magnifying glass you can start a fire. It is a quality device. Good glass lease. Sturdy metal frame and rivet. Nicely stitched leather case. If you like to carry in you pocket a small knife or other small tool, you will like this magnifying glass.

Durable and useful

I don't always have my glasses with me and sometimes they can't make the fine print legible. This magnifies the fine print enough to read it. The integrated cover keeps the glass from getting scratched, the size is two thirds of a business card so it's small enough you don't notice it in your pocket. It is a bit heavier than alternatives but that weight makes it easier to locate in your pockets.

I think this is a pretty cool idea. I carry mine around in my pocket with my pocket knife. This would make a great little gift. The glass size is about two inches across and it is very clear. the leather is soft not stiff. It feels only like I'm carrying a silver dollar in my pocket

This thing is awesome. It has 3X magnification in a compact unit that fits unnoticeable in your front pants pockets or a vest pocket. Comes in a nice Galco leather hinged case for the right amount of protection. Looks great also. Classy

very cool glass

the fit and finish of these magnifiers is perfect, with a functional and quite nice leather sleeve. i am encouraging we give these as boyscout gifts. i blew my kids away by starting a fire in about ten seconds. very functional for outdoors use. since the boys took mine i will be getting another... great price point for such a functional yet elegant piece !!
