Does not fit Daniel Defense DD5 V4 .308
Bought this for my AR 10, but it would not completely insert into the lugs in my barrel. I even tried to chamfer the lugs on the reaction rod but still no luck. Maybe it fits most AR 10’s but not all.
solid brand, solid interface
when i started building my own rifles it was few and far between so the "cheap" mounting systems worked fine but when i scaled up to using higher quality parts and a higher quantity i started breaking the cheap ones and decided to do some research on a buy once cry once mount... after reading through countless reviews and specs i decided to get the geisesele and i am glad i did. this is a well-known brand with top-quality machining, and they have shown it through years of r&d, and this was no exception. holds ar10 and SR-25 platforms perfectly, and I have used it for 14 builds and countless times for working on those builds. if you're on the fence because of the price, just go for it, you will certainly be happy you did for years to come.

WARNING*Will not work with HK MR762
This is an excellent product and I have many from this company and I'm sure this is built perfectly for the AR-10 but it will not work with the h&k 762. It will not even go into the throat for the bolt. It's too large for the h&k bolt cut out.

Excellent Product
Needed to change the mill spec bird cage flash hider on an AR10 for one that has a QD attachment for a can. Took about less than a minute with this tool in the vice. Highly recommend it for all your AR10 project needs.

As stated in other reviews it doesn't keep upper receiver from turning like their AR15 tool does. Mine also arrived already rusty.

Works for installing flash hiders and muzzle devices only
Works for installing flash hiders and muzzle devices only because there is no lug to lock into the receiver at the charging handle slot. Since it does not keep the receiver from rotating you can shear off the lug on the barrel extension if you are trying to remove highly torqued barrel nut, or worse, crack or break the receiver at the threaded end. It does not guarantee proper indexing of the barrel to the receiver. So use with caution, or break a receiver.

Best tool installing a barrel nut!
Great rod but the weight is ridiculously HEAVY (4 stars). This tool wont get much use due to it being for. 308 but nice to have on standby. That same weight caused a mishap during the delivery of this item. Fortunately O.P. customer service resolved the issue exceptionally! Many people discredit ordering from O.P. but being a customer without any affiliation strongly recommend to reconsider buying products with OpticsPlanet!!

Great AR10 tool
I found this tool to be perfect for assembling an AR10. I felt very confident using this reaction rod that I was not tweaking anything as I felt with other types of AR fixtures (vises etc.) This rod is big, heavy and beautifully machined. I was reluctant to clamp in my big vise at first. I did not want to scratch it. LOL In my case it mated precisely to my Wyandham Weaponry AR10 upper. This tool will assuredly outlive me by a couple of generations. Yes, I recommend it. Just don't choke when you see the price.Very well made

Geissele Reaction Rod
Own a Sig 716 and could not find any supplier who made a upper receiver block to securely hold the upper while working on it. Purchased the Geissele Reaction Rod for the AR10 and was the perfect solution for holding the upper receiver while changing the flash suppressor. Geissele products are always top quality.

Geissele AR-10/SR25 Reaction Rod
This is a must have item for assembling an upper or doing work on your rifle! Make it very easy to install a barrel nut and gas block. This has the typical Geissele quality and should last a lifetime of hard use.

Very good product. Got it on sale which is very good. Product worked perfectly for my AR10 build. Made installation of barrel and muzzle device very easy without possible damage to receiver. Very glad I purchased this.
