Screaming.Reels.556's Review of Geissele AR-15/M4 Reaction Rod
This is, by far, the best tool I have bought for use when building uppers. I have tried the old polymer clam shell types, these never fit properly - especially with specialty receivers and handguards. I have also tried the Magpul block, the Magpul version is much better than the clam shell, but it is no where as flexible as the Geissele Reaction rod. One thing I do not like about the Geissele, and this is my fault for not buying the other version is there is no locking mechanism to anchor the upper to the reaction rod. So while the rod is great for installing barrels/handguard/muzzle devices care must be taken to ensure you keep the upper on the rod.

- No locking mechanism

- assembling AR15 uppers
