Sleek and light
The rail is really really light even lighter than my 9" mlok rail from PSA. There's lots of room for accessories and add-ons to allow for a number of different build types. Although a bit on the pricey side I would still highly recommend this rail.
Geissele MK16 Super M-Lok 15in Modular Rail
I'm very happy with this purchase. Install was easy, just wish I knew you needed a proprietary barrel nut wrench when I purchased this. Great quality from Geissele as always.

One of the Best Rails on the Market
I really like the MK16 Rail for a number of reasons. It's very lightweight and comfortable in the hand. The machining is very good, as expected from Geissele. The more recent anodizing is a golden brown if anyone cares about that. I also like the upgraded Steel QD Mount and how they now retain the two castle nut screws. The rail is super solid and holds zero.

Gei$$ele MK16
I have a clone correct URGI (14.5" Barrel + 13.5" MK16 Rail); however, I recently purchased a Geissele Chrome Lined "Button" Barrel (5.56) that is 16.25" long. This barrel has a proprietary gas tube somewhere between a Mid-Length and a Rifle Length Gas System. Anyway, I decided to get the 15" MK16 Rail (DDC) because they're lighter weight and very comfortable. Really well made product but you doo pay for it. Never had any complaints with Geissele Products

Phenomenal hand guard!
Amazing handguard. Geissele's handguard is in use by USASOC, and the quality shows! It's superb and stiff, but still being relatively lightweight. I think next time I'd go with the MK-14 but that's a personal choice based purely on weight alone. Email with Geissele's own design staff, confirmed that the slight weight (and I mean ounces!) difference is due to added stiffeners in the guard's sidewalls. Either way you CANNOT go wrong with this purchase, and especially at this price! Beat's the MFSRP by about 10-15%.

Had been eyeing this for quite some time. Top-tier product from a top-tier manufacturer. And I couldn’t pass up the price! Optics planet delivered it in two days when it was promised in four. So half the time. And again could not beat the price!

Rail is definitely well polished and looks great, but mine had some metal shavings around small screws on the tab, near the inner part of the rail. That's my only objective complaint.

Geiselle MK16 15 inch rail
Geiselle has always made solid products. I replaced an Aero Precision handguard with the mk16 and its night and day a superior handguard. Solid lockup with the upper reciever. The MK16 is ridgid and accepts whatever accessories you want. I've got a bcm vertical grip and modlight okw with an arisaka inline scout mount and it all fit and functions great.
