Super speedy delivery by Optics Planet. The Spewing works as advertised. It is quiet, smooth and makes the rifle fun to shoot. I ran about 109 rounds of 6.8 spc and never had a malfunction. Gro ups were all tight at 50 yards <1 inch. I am ordering another.

I purchased this spring based on the reviews stating it silenced the "twangy" sound when charging the rifle. I only noticed about a 5% decrease in the spring noise when charging. Geissele makes great parts and this one doesn’t disappoint. With my setup I needed a little stiffer buffer and theirs worked perfect. I highly recommend their products and will continue to buy them in the future.

I will say that in the first 40 rd I can fell more control of th recoil if that make sense I was more in control of the muzzle rise the ejection fast but I need to try different ammo test this better

Well it’s Geissele. The braided spring is equivalent to the blue spinco spring, but the Sprinco probably last longer. The buffer itself is great quality. Has good room for the weights to do their deadblow thing. Fit and finish is just what you would expect. Shipping was good. Would recommend.

upgrade worth every penny

The Geissele Super 42 Buffer Spring and Buffer is one of the best upgrades I’ve made to my AR-15. The upgrade was noticeable right away. The rifle cycles smoother, recoil impulse feels softer, and the annoying “twang” from a standard buffer spring is virtually gone.

The build quality is exactly what you’d expect from them. The Super 42 is absolutely worth it. I would buy it again without hesitation.

Swapped it out at the range and noticed a smoother recoil and much better point of impact at a hundred yards. My grouping was much tighter. Did not notice the quieter twang or feel it in the stock.
