Rock solid forend
I did plenty of research before deciding on the Geissele MK4. Others required weird adhesives or strange mounting. This one had a very nice barrel tube nut and I really liked the "bomb proof" roll pin on the gas block. The install manual is easy to follow and explained how to not only use the set screw on the gas block (drilling small pilot holes for them to sink into), but it also detailed how to drill a 3/16" hole in the bottom of the gas block and install a roll pin, that makes it virtually indestructible.

Nice fitment
I have a 13.9” Criterion barrel and this hand guard on my AR15 that I built. With my yankee hill srx muzzle brake and the R9 Suppressor. The fitment is perfect.

Great hand guard
For me, I like the modular design of the hand guard and how it’s M-LOK with a quads rail on the end.

Great Quality, Sturdy
This thing is quite rigid for mostly being mlok. Has a great mounting system. Only thing is that the barrel nut is aluminum and pretty soft if you make a slip while torquing it. I marred mine pretty bad with 1 slip. I was surprised at the chunk of aluminum that came off. Still works fine and lockup is great.

Excellent quality
I was hesitant at first with how much more expensive this hand guard is compared to others. Once it arrived I couldn’t have been happier. This hand guard just feels like quality, and makes my firearm feel and look brand new. Highly recommend.

Geissele MK8 Rail
Best rail you can get. Anything Geissele. Best fit and finish. Expensive but worth it. Will not be dissatisfied with any Geissele rails. I’ll be buying more of them

Its a really really nice and beautiful handguard. Top tier brand top tier quality. But it doesn't come with a MSRP $10 tool..... Come on Geissele. Bump the price up a little and include the tool please. optics planet doesn't have it in stock. Had to purchase it from other website pay extra for shipping.

Absolutely one of the best handguards on the market
Geissele is known for making some of the highest quality parts for AR platforms. Their triggers and handguards are simply the best! I love their DDC compared to regular FDE. This rail is very lightweight, strong and looks absolutely fantastic! If you’re on the fence, climb on down and pull out your wallet! �

One of the best rails available
I have put a lot of AR uppers together. Pairing this rail with a build always goes well. Ease of installation and a rock solid mount. Good rail space and I like the front pic rails for using a bipod. There are newer rails out and there are cheaper ones too. This one just works. Pick it up when it goes on sale though!
