Such a beautiful trigger. First off, it’s aesthetic, kinda flat, kinda curved, gorgeous.
It had a perfect take up length, a clean crisp break and a nice reset.
The texture on the trigger face is perfect for gloves and no gloves.
This is my go to trigger on all builds.

I own several models of G triggers and they are all fantastic. This Super Tricon offers a slight departure that I have mixed feelings on.
First, typical high-quality Geissele. 5-stars for fit and function. It truely is a modified SSA. I really like the serrated face and it will be interesting to see how the stainless springs break in. Typically, a G trigger will lighten up a quarter to half pound after some use (and not really from wear surfaces smoothing out--they already are silky smooth!).
If you have small hands, this trigger might be perfect. The hybrid bow brings the face more to the rear and my XL hands do not like this. It's not a deal breaker but I do prefer using the finger pad instead of the joint. The concept is sound. Move lower on the trigger face will give a better precision shot with a slightly lighter pull. Higher up will be better for rapid fire. For me, it'll just be a training and practice issue to work through.
Overall, this is a great choice for a LPVO or magnifier-equipped carbine that could be used for CQB. It's a relatively quick trigger that offers two stage precision in a forgiving pull weight. If you are looking purely for CQB on up to 200 yards, I highly recommend the SSP (Single Stage Precision). It's an amazing Geissele version of Mil-spec.

If you’re looking for a lightning bow trigger but don’t want to drop an extra $100, this is the way to go. Texturing on trigger face is also a plus.
Cons:
- Wish there was a lighter trigger pull option.

An excellent trigger. Its hybrid curve/straight bow design makes the SSA like pull weight feel less. In hot humid enviorments the slightly wider and textured trigger shoe allows for quick shooting. Works well with gloves too.

Have always heard these triggers were amazing but never found one I thought really fit all the needs I have for the price. This one does. The flat bow and ridged texture is absolutely perfect....take-up and break are amazing. It truly is astounding to use this trigger side by side with anything else. I use it for hunting and target but it would do fantastic in most any application.

This Geissele Super Tricon SUPERT trigger is the epitome of all triggers, the rounded top of the trigger shoe replicates a mil-spec triggers feel but it straightens out into a flat trigger shoe that has serrations up and down the front of the trigger, this trigger pulls at about 4.5 Lbs. and is super crisp with very little take up to the wall despite being a 2 stage trigger. I recommend this trigger to anyone who is on the fence about which trigger shoe style to go with. I was personally in the same boat trying to decide if I would like the dynamic straight bow trigger shoe or the mil-spec style one, I saw this style of trigger shoe in a Geissele factory demonstration on YouTube and I knew I had to have it at first sight. After purchasing one and running it I can confirm, its simply the best of both worlds with little to no compromises.
Pros:
- Superior flat and curved trigger shoe

The Geissele Super Tricon does not disappoint as with all of their other triggers I have. The trigger shoe matches a Timney trigger I have for a Remington 700, so it is nice to have the familiar feel between precision rifles. The only problem I ran into was that it would not function with the 60 degree throw Battle Arms selector. I had to switch it to the 90 degree to get the Tricon to release the hammer.

My Geissele triggers encludes: two SD3Gs - with light and heavy springs, a SSA-E and a HSNM. A retired military and civilian LEO, I recently adopted a new LMT LM8 SBR with 7 lb MILSPEC trigger. What trigger for upgrade? Per recommendation I opted for a SUPERT. Perfect! Trust the recommendations of the Geissele folks - they seriously know what they're doing.

This trigger has a fancy name, but it's really identical to the Geissele SSA with the only difference being the shape and feel of the trigger bow. But for me this upgrade is exactly what I was looking for. The straighter curve and addition of a grooved surface give a lot more area for placing your finger where you want. Lower placement makes the trigger pull feel lighter. Also, the grooves are a little grippy so your finger doesn't move during the trigger pull even if a bit sweaty. A lot of 1911s have a trigger shappe and feel like this, but this is the only one I found for the AR-15.
For the trigger pull itself, I also really like it. This is a two-stage design with a relatively low trigger pull weight. The result is there is a bit of safety built in with the two stage pull, which is ideal for a home defense or battle rifle. A single stage hair trigger is great for target shooting, but can easy result in a negligent discharge in high stress situations. The pull weight is low enough and the break is clean enough that it is still a major upgrade over the standard mil-spec trigger.
