I would've used the Leatherman Supertool for the task I am about to describe, but it was in the truck and I didn't want to go get it. My wife dropped her ring down the kitchen sink and I made a J-hook out of a standard wire coat hanger. The Gerber Suspension Multi-Plier came as a free gift when I purchased the Trijicon 4x32 ACOG scope. On the 3rd cut of the wire hanger the Gerber broke in half by the screw/pin that holds the plier jaws together. Maybe that's why it was free...

This is a very functional tool that has quite a few usable items contained in a reasonably light and easy to use package. It provides a person with quick access to a variety of useful tools. It is a step above any other multi tool that I have used in the past. This was packaged with my purchase of a Trijicon ACOG which made it even better.

Got this for free with an Acog I bought here.
Its bulky and can flex when really working hard with the pliers.
But for free its a great multi tool. If it were my money I would buy a leather man.
I have owned and used various Leathermans, SOG EOD multi tools, and the sliding one hand opening Gerber multi tool.
Not to bash Gerber but there multi tools are just not on the same level. Leatherman is by far my favorite closely followed by SOG depending on need.

This is a great, mid size, Multitool. I carry one everywhere, and was very pleased with this one. As most folks know, Gerber is no newbie to the knife/ blade game, and there Multitools speak volumes just like their knives do. It's a tough, perfect sized, quality product, that you can carry on a daily basis with confidence. It slap came with a nice carry case, which has the Gerber logo on it. Mine came with a very sharp blade, and I haven't had to sharpen it again, yet. All around, I really like this Gerber Multitool!

Just got this multi tool with another order. Very sturdy and very well-built looking forward to using this one for many tasks and gunsmithing. Very sturdy!! Appears finely machined with tight tolerances. Was not aware Gerber made this item. Worth getting!

I received this as part of a combo, but the quality seems fine. Some tools can be a bit difficult to deploy. It really has the same limitations that just about any multi-tool has: The smaller you make them, and the more "stuff" you cram into one multi-tool, the less functional each individual tool becomes. But.......it's much better than having no tools.

Always wanted a mutitool but hated it hanging off the belt getting in the way. Love gerber and to cool thing about this one is that the sheath it came with allows the tool to ride alongside the belt very cool tool glad to have it. Thanks optics planet for the cool gift when i purchased my ACOG

Great all-in-one tool, great to have in your range bag. Locking tools making easy to use with no pinched fingers. Took it first day out with new sight and mount, used it right away. Came free with my new ACOG.

The Gerber Suspension is a very good value in this price range. The Gerber brand has always meant quality to me, and this tool is no different. The secure locking feature on the blades/tools is a feature that sets this product apart from most of its competitors in the moderate price range. Another nice feature is substantial sheath with provision for vertical or horizontal belt carry. I may buy another to keep in my truck!

Haven't put it through rough use TBH, but seems sturdy. The skeletonized frame is a nice touch for weight savings. Came bundled for free with an optic I purchased so the price was definitely right! It sits in my go-bag.
