Most Helpful Positive Review Solid QD Mount
I have several of these and other models of GG&G's Accucam QD bases on various long-guns to keep my scopes close to zero if I have to remove them for maintenance. I will continue to go to GG&G Accucam QD bases in the future. For anyone looking for specifications, this GGG-1197 is 5 inches long (2 inches shorter than the GGG-1236 "Scout Length" QD base), weighs 6 ounces, and adds approximately 1/2-inch more height to the attached scope (maybe another 1/32-inch on that 1/2-inch height). Fantastic scope mount.. can remove scope and use open sites and then, mount scope back on with dead on accuracy Can keep scope in back pack for protection while hiking to location. With no worries on the scope getting scraped by branches or being dropped scope remains clean and ready to use

Accucam mount GG&G

I bought this to raise my AR15 scope .5 inches. As usual GG&G doesn't disappoint.
Solid engagement, no slop what so ever, quality part, excellent finish. Perfect length to mate up with either a another rail or scope mount and adjust to your eye relief.

GG&G Accucam QD is rock solid mount

I have several AR-15s that have detachable scopes and BUIS. I use the GG&G Accucam QD Standard Rail exclusively as my detachable scope mount. I attach my scope (in the scope rings) to the Accucam and then the Accucam attaches to the picatinny rail on the AR. The Accucam is well made, easy to use and a rock solid mount. If mounted correctly it will not work loose. The scope zero is not affected by detaching and reattaching the mounted scope. Outstanding product!

Excellent Quick Detach Device

I own several of these for my ARs. It makes it super easy to break a rifle down for transportation. They are well made and easy to use. Scope zero is repeatable when device is removed and reattached. You can't go wrong with the GG&G Accucam.

Worth the Money

GGG did a great job with this QD base. It's lightweight and low profile. Mounted to the Ultimak on my M1A, it allows me to set up the rifle with either a CompM3 for low light/night or a Burris Scout (mounted on the GGG QD Base).

Pros: Low profile, lightweight, in spec
Cons: None come to mind
