Most Helpful Negative Review Will not fit a G17 gen 3

The 7489 will not fit a three pin Glock. A small tap sticks up and hits the upper pin to the locking block. I’m assuming it’s for a two pin Glock only. I couldn’t even install it without it hitting the other pin.

It fits great and I don’t mean installation only. It fits my hand/thumb orientation very well. Super pleased with it. If only I could find a mag release that fits just as well without interfering with anything else. Highly recommend

Must needed upgrade

I purchased this to replace the factory slide lock on a SCT frame that was very difficult to press. This has made a big difference and very easy compared to the factory one.

Needed addition to every Glock

I always install this extended slide stop lever on my pistols because I'm an old school user of the slide release during my reloads. This slide stop lever provides more purchase for your thumb, which is especially important when using compact models with dual recoil springs, like the G26 or the G29. I recommend this slide stop lever without any reservation.

Glock Factory Extended Slide Stop Release

IMO this is is very necessary upgrade that is affordable, simple to install, and useful.

The “lip, ledge, or bump” on the release just feels good. You won’t regret it.

I have this factory part installed on all my Glocks that I own and have purchased several to gift to family and friends because it just works well.

I dont know why there is a one star review, that person does not know how to work on a glock if he/she had issues! I would recommend this to anyone who wants to upgrade their glock! 5 stars all the way!!!
