Very well made holster! Fits my 4043 perfectly. It is sometimes hard to find accesories for older gen S & W autos and this is a good one. Heavy leather but light and comfortable to wear. I wieh it had been avaiable in a two-slot version.

Seems to be of good quality. This company from what I can see caters to a lot of law enforcement which they get a lot of good reviews from. So I'd have to say this holster should last a long time. Its very comfortable and later when it conforms to my body shape will get even more comfortable. Also it looks great, I love the black color. So if your on the fence id have to say go for it!!

For a relatively heavy revolver like my Ruger, this holds it in close and correct height. Snap is tight to close at first but once it is fastened, it holds securely. Covers the trigger with a thumb slot on inside to get a good grip when drawing. With black Hogue grip and black holster, it looks great.

Very good quality holster for my Ruger 357 Magnum revolver (4 inch barrel). Leather is a little stiff but I am sure it will soften with age. The holster keeps my revolver riding close to my hip so that it does not print when wearing a sweater or heavy t shirt.

The Gould & Goodrich B803 Three Slot Pancake Holster is first class in material quality and workmanship. I recently purchased two; one for a Glock 19 and one for a Glock 20. On first try right out of the box, both holsters were too tight for the gun. I have the extended, Glock provided beaver tail grip addition on each gun as well as Truglo TFO/TFX sights. These are quality holsters made to fit stock weapons. As noted on the holster instruction sheet, I sprayed the inside of each holster with silicone spray. I worked each gun into its holster and since have always kept the guns in their holsters to get the leather to form fit each. It worked and the guns now fit nicely, allowing the thumb snaps to close with reasonable effort. I appreciate the additional retention of a thumb snap. It definitely provides enhanced safety for carrying a loaded weapon, and a corresponding enhanced comfort in doing so. I tried both the vertical holster set on the belt as well as the forward canted set. During holster breakin the vertical set allowed for more push to get the gun seated. Now with the holsters form fitted, the forward canted holster set is the way I carry. The holsters have a small overall footprint but yet fit securely on my belt. My belts are 1 1/2" fancy stitched belts made by Diamond D, located in Alaska. Excellent gun belts. The holsters ride high (especially when vertical set on the belt) and tight to the body. I have used one of these holsters for my Glock 22's for many years and they just continue to serve and never wear out; except for the one that my mechanic son has been dragging on the the concrete for a long time and it finally wore through near the end and I replaced it. One tough product !!!!

Great holster would recommend to others. I bought the one made for a berreta 92 compact and it fits so close to my hip you can't even tell I have a firearm. I enjoy this holster it's very comfortable.

I purchased other Gould & Goodrich holsters. All offer quality material,compact size,superior workmanship. The amount of leather used is selected for the gun size ,not just one massive piece of leather for all models. The fit on my belt and most important with gun is perfect. The technical service from Gould & Goodrich is great.My recent consideration of a gun purchase to carry I first contact Gould & Goodrich if they have a holster available.THANKS

Very good quality leather and finish. The 803 is a perfect fit for my 5" Tisas 1911 as well as my Ruger SR1911 commander 1911. This holster allows me to carry "cocked and locked". It fits close to my body, so it conceals easily. I would definitely purchase again.

Have this for my Ruger GP100 4" revolver. Nice quality leather, good fit (no need to break in and stretch like most leather holsters). Good quality thumb snap hardware. Thumb snap gives good security yet is v easy to disengage. Holster pulls butt close in to your side for good concealment and comfort. Wish they made em for the 3" GP100 and SP101 revolvers. Reasonable price considering quality.
