Functional but photo misleading - Griffin Armament Enhanced Mil Spec Bolt Carrier Group (BCG)

This BCG seems functional enough but mine appeared used out of the box. It is NOT shiny as pictured. The finish is matte. The griffin insignia is nearly black. I am not sure if it is worn off or if it is supposed to be that way. I am severely disappointed because I ordered this brand specifically for its look. I could have ordered any matte black BCG out there, but the look of this one fit my build aesthetic. I assumed that it would eventually fade, but it appeared used and faded out of the box. The cam pin is actually modeled on top, looking worn. I have half a mind to return it because it appears used and I ordered a new BCG. I am writing this review to warn others not to expect to receive what you see. The BCG may be perfectly serviceable but it will disappoint you if you think that it will appear as the sales photo shows.
