Excellent drop in replacement, haven’t tried the comp yet as I got to use with suppressor. So far zero issues!

Using in glock model 45 9mm for EDC. Fits in holster well doesn't dig in while IWB or OWB. O malfunctions out of 500 rounds so far. Everything from 115fmj to 147jhp. Compensatory works well but could use an extra port, just wishing.

Put in a G47, reduced muzzle rise well for a small comp.

Easiest install of any part on a glock. excellent fit and finish, which is the usual for Griffin products. I was a little hesitant about the comp, as there's no shims or instructions on timing it. After looking around a little, it's apparently not supposed to be timed, just snugged to 8 ft/lbs and run it. Took it out for a few hundred rounds, and it performed flawlessly. Chamber appears to be a little tighter than stock, so it changed my ejection point a little (could also be due to the comp; not quite sure). After running two mags with the stock barrel, I immediately installed with the comp, and it actually does mitigate recoil, causing the weapon to push straight back into your grip more than flip the muzzle; this was actually pretty surprising given how small the comp is, and the fact that it's not directionally ported. Waiting on my booster piston so I can run my can on it, but I'm sure the threads will work just fine. Overall I'd call this thing a 10/10, and would absolutely recommend.

Quality machined barrel and comp.The comp looks awesome.

The comp does not align as indicated. Griffin claims it disperses the energy evenly when it causes lateral shifts. It makes it louder but really does nothing to reduce recoil. The comp is useless for the purpose it’s made. Their barrel won’t work with many other comps. It will not look as pictured on their site when installed. Shop a real comp because this is useless.

I bought a new XL slide with a red dot mounted and suppressor height sights installed from sig. I needed a barrel and was interested in trying the micro comp, so I figured I’d save some money and buy this barrel since it came with the comp… the flanges on the ejection port are of the barrel are too big or something. The front and rear are getting chewed up on the barrel and chewing up the brand new slide I bought every time I cycle it to break in the slide. I compared the wear I was seeing after a few hundred racks of the slide to my original slide and barrel (which has more dry fire practice and maybe 2k rounds through it) and there was no comparison. No such apparent wear on the original slide or barrel… I looked on their website, it seems the never been fired condition of my barrel renders it as “not in new condition” and therefore non returnable, which is ultimately not the bigger issue considering it damaged my new slide. Disappointed to say the least. Seems like quality control would have caught this problem. On closer inspection, the underside of the feed ramps seem sharp and have a somewhat ragged edge on the flat part of the radius. Really wish I could include pictures. I have it two stars tentatively, because I haven’t shot it yet to know if it even functions.
