GTSW287, comes in pairs, for 1.25” straps
I ordered these 3 years ago on OP to use in conjunction with the Magpul Padded MS1 sling. I believe they were $18 something at the time and made in America. Great purchase!! I am looking to have a backup sling around and would not look elsewhere. Buy with confidence. The recessed button takes effort, and would be essentially impossible to release accidentally; in less than 20 seconds could have on a different firearm. I carry a 14+# rifle on it with ease.
Pros:
- value
- rugged
- American made
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Anything where a 1.25 inch strap is to be used
Would recommend: Yes
The right solution for 2pt and 1pt sling flexibility
Extremely well-made. D-ring design makes for a simple solution to varying attachment angles necessary for two-point and single-point sling configurations without needing to adjust position. Solves sling issues when ambidextrous shooting in a logical, no-frills manner.
Pros:
- Quality
- simplicity
- Compatibility
Cons:
- Limited stock
Best Used for:
- Optimal attachment when handling rifles, switching hands, and sling configuration
Would recommend: Yes
Angled swivels
Works great. The angle on the swivel works very well with hooks from you sling. I tried standard inch and quarter swivels. My sling hook attachment point was all over not very secure feeling went carrying or carrying on your shoulder
Pros:
- Made in USA
Cons:
- None
Would recommend: Yes
T each there own preference
Dont get me wrong these are heavy duty well made. I like the smaller set ups and decided to try these out for the angled version. Worked well with my blue force u loop attachments but with my H K snap hooks they had a tendency to get trapped in between the push button and the loop. My biggest problem is the operation. The Idea behind quick disconnect is just that, quick. These are not quick. Almost all the time it requires two hands to operate. I realize they are new but come on. Ive soaked them overnight in rem oil and WD 40. Even tried some cutting oil. They work some what better but I'm not one to wait around on a product to be broke in. Especially this type of item. Ive had then for a few weeks now and operation wise they stink.
Pros:
- Well Built and Solid
Cons:
- QUICK DISCONNECT TRICKY
Would recommend: No
