With that being said..... Thiss plate is made of UHMWPE only. At only 2.9lbs and rifle rated. I was sold instantly. I have a few sets of different plates a few UHMWPE a ceramic set and even a lws600 steel plate set. These by far beat everything I have. As far as weight saved and your back pain. These are not the thickest I own either right at an inch. I own a few guarddog bodybarmor products and for what its worth I stand by everything they have to offer. Solid products that saves you literal back pain and tons of cash.

Wow! These are the same size (thickness) as my Guard Dog Level 4 ceramic plates but HALF the weight.
IMO, these are the lowest level of protection you should be buying because they will protect against common-use rifle hits.

Wonder plates. They are extremely light and fit great. The fact the can float had me sold instantly.

Not as described and non-refundable
This is much thicker and heavier than described. I needed something for a backpack and this is unusable. And worst of all is that it's not returnable! Complete disappointment.

AMAZING PRICE FOR THE QUALITY!!
First ide like to correct that these plate are 2.9lbs and not 3.9lbs, which is even better! Quality is amazing on these. These are not ceramic however as listed. And without actually shooting them I cannot attest to the complete quality of these, but that is what YouTube is for. Would absolutely purchase again.

Like the shirts,seem well made..the plates seem good very light for an an out of shape older individual. Hope to never to need them

Get a size large carrier
These are great, lightweight, ceramic plates at a very affordable price point! They are thick boys though so I would recommend a large sized plate carrier. I managed to force them into my medium plate carrier (TREX AC1) but the fit is extremely tight. Definitely recommend going to a large plate carrier because of the thickness. Overall, I’m very happy with them! Single curve is fairly comfortable and I’ve taken the set up for a 2 mile run with no issues. Highly recommend these ceramics from Guard Dog!

great quality very light weight if your not dead set on stopping armor piercing green/black tip etc.
I think guard dog offers a quality product for an affordable price for home defense/preparedness these plates canbe beat.
