Chrome spring
Bought this for an AR10 I am building for a client. Hope this works well along with an AR10 buffer I bought. This is the second AR10 I have put together and AR10 spring are much different than AR15. This spring fit the spec's.

Looks quality. Shiny and smooth chrome finish. Appears as though promote smooth function. Perhaps with less noise than normal.finish appears well done if not polished.

Does not fit in S&W MP10
Does not fit in S&W MP10. I guess the MP10 is a rifle, not a carbine. My bad.
However, the spring's coating was indeed smooth. The tensile spring action was slightly stiffer than my OEM spring and my spring only has about 50 rounds through it.
