I purchased one of these in the anodized black and the finish is flawless. Installed it on my Foxtrot Mike fm15 upper and the fit is great. (It fits like a standard dust cover) Overall I think it's a nice product. Not sure why the other reviews are so bad but perhaps they have better quality control...

junk and poor fit
absolute junk does not fit aero upper. Had to file down the detent part to make fit. Ended up in the trash. Came with tons of anodizing flaws and some small chips. You will not be happy with this dust cover as other reviews have mentioned

Perfect fit on my stern defense 9mm upper. Highly recommended. Only thing is that the pink in the picture looks lighter than what it really is.

Great product, if it fit...
Overall the quality of the part was perfect. Great color and consistency in the finish. Unfortunately the rod channel was ~1/8-3/16" too wide to fit any of my Mil-Spec AR15 uppers. It's almost like someone mis-labeled the parts and they're really AR10 dust covers.

nice looking but doesn't fit anything
I've tried this on multiple upper receivers including Aero Precision (mil-spec and M4E1), Anderson, WMD, store-brand generics, anodized, Cerakoted, and raw, and it doesn't fit any of them. The radius on the the upper ends is the same as on a mil-spec door, but the mil-spec door is a flimsy piece of sheet steel. The radius is simply too sharp for the thicker billet aluminum to fit into the recess on the side of any upper receiver. The Timber Creek billet ejection port door has a larger radius, so it fits, but it's about 50/50 on actually latching and even less on staying latched, so I can't win with a billet door....

DO NOT BUY FOR Aero Precision M4E1 No Forward Assist Threaded Stripped Upper Receiver
Took to a licensed gun smith to install and was no good. Don’t not purchase this for the Aero Precision M4E1 No Forward Assist Threaded Stripped Upper Receiver as it does not fit at all. Had to return asap.

Nice looking dust cover, easy to install
Installed much easier than I was expecting, and it looks very nice. My only complaint is the pin that holds it shut if you close it over the ejection port seems to shift easily. I don't know if it's heat expansion, not enough grip on the threads or what, but often after shooting, and everything has cooled, I have to readjust the screw so it will snap shut and stay. Otherwise, perfect replacement.

Amazing and simple to install dust cover
What can I say? I know... This is a GREAT dust cover, which has been the absolute EASIEST to install in my many years of building AR platform rifles. The bar it comes with is so smooth and easy to run through the mounting holes for the dust cover that I kid you not, it took longer to twist the spring around properly than it did to push the bar through! All in all took me literally 4 minutes to swap out my old, put the new in and be done. In fact the adjustment for the stop pin / close pin for the port to retain shut took the most time (not hard, just saying it was the longest part lol).
Color is amazing, looks sleek enough as it matches all my billet components. Love it, recommend it!

Scratches all over
Piece came with scratches all over the face and it will have to be cerakoted. very dissatisfied looks like an unfinished part. Not as pictures shows looks very different in person for the black color at least

color did not match photo
Color of the gold in the picture was not the color of “gold” i received. Instead of gold it was a more orange like tint. I was going to return it but didnt feel like going through the hassle just to have someone tell me at the end of the day it was lost in transit & im at a loss so I’ll turn to resell it myself
