It's lightweight and helps a bit with the concussion of shooting.
Though I wish it didn't have holes all around the entire circumference.

Amazing Product!

Super easy to install. Fits nice and doesn’t weigh too much. Handled a few hundred rounds no issue. Thought I ordered a black one (my fault lol) but the grey isn’t bad. Have to recommend it ! Need more words now to submit this review

Guntec shroud

Easy to install and gives you the look and feel of a suppressed rifle. Simply threads on and off. Good filler for any gaps between your Handguard and barrel. Have not shot the weapon yet to test function.

Over Barrel Shroud

Easy instalation.
I haven't got to use it yet.
But it looks great.
Especially on your builds when you do not have a lot of room from the end of your barrel to your gas block.
Pros:
  • Fits perfect over your barrel and just under your picatinny handguard

Awesome Barrel Shroud for my 6.5 Grendel Build

Great way to mimic a suppressor by using a barrel shroud, it will hide about 1.25 inches of your barrel. Total length 3 inches long, lightweight and sturdy. Easy to install, I used a shim instead of a crush washer. Or you can get away without using either one. All in all I’m very satisfied with my purchase. Its a little on the pricey side but if want to have that fake suppressor look its worth it.

  • Sturdy , light , and compact
  • sturdy - looks great
Cons:
  • Price (But it's worth it)
Best Used for:
  • ar pistol builds
