Most Helpful Positive Review Sleek and functional shroud.
Love this thing! Looks badass on my 16” w/ a 14” rail. Mitigates the recoil a little bit, but not S much as some higher end compensators. But for the price point, you really can’t lose buying this. Head turner at the range for sure.

Not for short barrel.

Product is made for a long barrel gun. so if you have a 10.5 barrel or less i wouldn’t recommend unless you can cut it. i have an 8.5 and i had to cut it almost in half for it to screw on. other then that its a great product. I’ve shot with it on and everything works fine

Looks great on my new 308 build

Since I live in California, I cannot have a suppressor on my rifle and this is the next best thing. It looks great with my 15" handguard and 22" barrel. I have not test fired it yet since I am still awaiting other parts for my build that I ordered thru Optics Planet.
Pros:
  • Suppressor looking compensator
Cons:
  • Did not come with crush washeer (minor issue since I had spare parts from another build)

I bought the Guntech 308 Muzzle Brake for my 300 blk pistol build. It looks awesome on the gun. Haven't had it out to the range yet but next outting it's going along.
If it works out nice, I'm getting one for my carbine build too.

might seem gimmecky but they WORK

Sound is projected down range in a major way. Recoil due to the ported break and increased weight also see reductions.

Guntec claims reductions of up to 70% - maybe of thread protectors. However it does produce a notable improvement in felt recoil - call it 50% on a standard A2, 70% on thread protectors.

Gets the job done

Second one I've owned. Looks great. Significant reduction in recoil. This thing does a nice job of dispersing gases for quicker follow-up shots and the aesthetics are nice. Solid weight.
