Sloppy Workmanship...
It’s a nice charging handle but they were sloppy and this should never have left the factory. On the latch there was an extended bur that protruded into where the latch contacts the receiver. The bur was even coated black making the latch liking like a spike. After 5 minutes with a file the bur was removed. It was the cheapest price of ar10 charging handles on this site so you get what you pay for...
Not standard
I have a aero M5E1 and this won't allow the bolt to close, it appears to be like 1/4" short. If I drop in the BCG it will completely close and with the charging handle the upper hits the buffer tube. I ordered a strike industry and will try that.

Review Correction - Guntec AR-10 Charging Handle
There's no way to edit my previous review. I incorrectly reported the problem with the AR-10 .308 charging handle. The problem is actually in the design. The latch doesn't open wide enough to lock onto my Aero AR-308 upper receiver. I understand it works with Guntec's upper receiver. I don't know how it will work with other makes. It's still only 6061-T6 and not the stronger 7075-T6 some other charging handles are made of.

AR .308 Charging Handle
I ordered an AR-10 .308 charging handle, & it came with an AR-10 stem but they put an AR-15 latch on it. Doesn't latch like that. Also, it's only 6061-T6 and not the stronger 7075-T6 some other charging handles are made of. I like the extended latch style.

Poor Quality Controls
The pin that holds the latch in was installed halfway and bent. This is a simple part. How do you miss the only moving part. The only thing this good for is a dibbe. Do not waste your money. The handle also looks bent.
