Works flawlessly
Tamed my AR9 and fixed all feeding issues! Works like a dream! I have a 4.5” AR9 that had a standard carbine buffer and kicked like a mule and would have ftf like 5 times a mag.. this buffer solved all my problems!

Did not work with stroke industries flat wire spring
Product looked good and did function with regular buffer spring. But would not fit in strike industries flat wire spring. All other buffers I own do fit in flat wire spring. Including another 9mm buffer
Quality Buffer
Completed my AR 9 pistol build with this buffer since everything i read recommends using at least an 8 oz buffer. Gun cycled flawlessly. Buffer is well made, looks and performs like it is much more expensive than it was. Outstanding value!

Had no effect on a PSA DOE 9mm.
I tried this and the FM heavy bolt with 308 flat wire spring and neither one of them had any effect on reliability for the PSA Department of energy 9 mm pistol. My next plan is the Maxim roller delayed blowback system. That doesn't work I'm done with it. Don't waste your money on either one of these items if you're trying to make a PSA Department of energy 9 mm pistol caliber carbine reliable it will not work

guntec ar9mm buffer
Nice and heavy weight buffer well haven’t tried it but got my order in 4 days that’s nice especially with Covid and I order from other websites and they take weeks good s@&$ optics planet great service but back to the buffer i recomend it seems nice and solid and that nice stainless steel color

Great buffer
This is a quality piece. It is well made and fits perfectly. Beautiful chrome stainless steel and slick as snot. I'm using these in two Colt smg clone builds and both run flawless. Well worth the money.

GUNTEC USA Ar 9mm Buffer
Basic extended heavy buffer for blow back AR pistol, does its job sans a fancy logo with a fancy price to match. The buffer is as long as it needs to be(unlike this review) without the need for spacers or a stack of quarters.

GUNTEC AR9 Buffer
This is my second AR9 buffer and this one is not operates flawlessly, but is three times cheaper than the previous one I purchased from another vendor. The Guntec buffer slowed the cyclic rate down perfectly and made follow on shots smooth and easy. This brand will be my go-to from now on. With regard to the overall purchase - lesson learned, shop at Optics Planet first.

Works great with my FM9 upper, runs flawless. Was running a lighter buffer and it would not engauge the ejector. Swapped to this heavier buffer and it fixed the problem. Would highly recommend this to anyone having failure to eject problems.
