Nice functional and cosmetic upgrade
These have a great look to set your build apart from the norm. This wide castle nut paired with the JE Machine Tech fluted buffer tube looks awesome.

bling bling
Very nice chrome plated steel piece. Needed some bling for an AR build. A lot better than those cheap aluminum ones. It is longer also.Very happy with it.

Castle Nut
The black finish on this castle nut is metallic looking & comes off fairly easy but overall it’s aesthetically pleasing.

Greatly priced, Looks awesome with a colored buffer tube showing through. Be careful when tightening with your wrench, it can get marred. Definitely will be buying more of these. Shipping was fast as well.

Terrible design
Just like other guy says won’t work with a lot of buffer tubes I had a WMD and wouldn’t screw on far enough for buffer tube to catch the retainer won’t be able to use. It should have that in the description will I only work with certain buffer tubes

These are cool
Not sure I would label this as "Extreme Duty" as there is probably less actual threads grabbing your buffer tube. However, they look cool for sure! Nice little touch if you're doing a custom build and want those small differences that really set a particular firearm apart. Finish starting to wear some on my older one but just has a brass looking rub through on the edges and I think it looks almost better that way. I have bought two now so obviously happy with it.

Not impressed. Would not reccomend.
I purchased this for use with a KAK buffer tube and it did not fit at all! The nut threaded on but, not nearly far enough for the buffer tube to catch the detent.
I wound up using this for another project with a standard milspec buffer tube. It did fit and I felt confident that it would not back off but, the collapsable stock will to go to the shortest length of pull (milspec or Magpul), the tips of the nut scratched the finish of the buffer tube, and neither of my armorers wrenches fit properly. Again, I don’t think it will come loose but, I won’t be purchasing another nor recommending this product to anyone for a future build. I gave it 3 stars because it does appear to hold properly (range time will tell) and the threads were good but, it’s not really worth the trouble. A standard castle nut will suffice and costs less anyway.
