Great case, but no button access
First off, I will say this is a great little box. The fingerprint reader is top notch, very accurate. Very easy to set up and add fingerprints to.

Biometric guns safe
Biometrics work well enough after you get it set up. Key pads should work in conjuction with the biometrics.

Good safe for storage.
Works as expected. Only issue I have is that the user cannot bypass the biometric pad and use the actual finger pads for access. Had I know that, I would have purchased the keypad version and not opted for the biometric one.

Convenient Security
This vault works very well on the night stand. It also satisfies the need to prevent access by any unauthorized person. The vault seems to be well made. The biometric feature simplifies the access to the weapon but I think it could work a little faster.

Does not respond well to finger scan
1. Instructions are not well done. Had to call for assistance. I did get it programmed for myself but did not have any success with the second person. So we have to keep key very close which may prove to be a poor idea if we have a theft when we are not at home. 2. The finder scan functions performs poorly. I usually have to do it at least three times for the reader to pick me up and open. If I am in a stressful situation this could be a problem as well since I will probably not have hands quite as steady as in a normal situation.

Too hard to program, unintuitive instruction manual
Bought this for my wife to store her (toy). After trying multiple times to program according to manual I had to call company to explain how to do it. After some time on the phone the girl was able to talk me through programing. Should not have been that difficult to do. I should have bought her one of the other models like the one I have from them that just uses combo buttons. They work great and are just as fast if not quicker to open. Have to admit the customer service was very helpful.

mvb biometric vault
this safe was purchased for security around the house. Grand kids around, I wanted safe but quick access to weapon.
I regularly have to run my finger over the sensor 20+ times to get access! if i were getting raped we would be on the second round.

Good safe, good features
I purchased this safe to have safety and access away from my regular gun safe. Overall, I think this is a good product and I would recommend it to others. You can limit the access by fingerprint which is nice. There is a backup key also. It is a little frustrating when you may have to swipe your finger multiple times to get it to open. It is reasonably quick access. Overall it seems to be well built.

Great, secure and easy access safe
I was skeptical about purchasing the biometric scanner after reading several reviews about poor fingerprint recognition. After setting it up and attempting to open it over and over again, I had no problems at all with this unit. Of course, when you swipe too quickly, it doesn't recognize, but a normal speed swipe takes literally 1-2 seconds. If you need faster access than that, I don't think any other safe will offer it.
I set up my wife's fingerprint and she was able to unlock the safe 10 out of the next 10 tries.

Set up was extremly difficult. I assumed from the picures that you could use the hand buttons to unlock the safe along with using the biometrics or scanning your finger prints. Not, you can not use the finger / hand buttons to unlock the safe.

Not what it seems..
This is a missleading sale... the "trademarked" hand key pad doesnt work on this model. The biometric reader is hardly functional... 1 in 10 times it may work with a registered print. There are cheeper mobile safes out there just as good... that work with just a key (Thats all you will get this to work with). Would not rely upon this for my life, at night, in my home.
