continued warranty issue

No warning when battery dies; terrible customer service
Hello,
I have an older version of this safe and I had an incident last night where I needed access to my gun quickly because we heard someone in our backyard. My primary home defense weapon is kept in my GunVault. Upon trying to use my access code it would not open. I had to o find my key and eventually open it. Needless to say this was not acceptable so I contacted their customer service after seeing online other had the same issue. Here is their exact response:
I do apologize for the inconvenience.We' are not why the unit did not indicate the battery was low since this safe is a very hold maybe the cause was an electronic issue.Thank you for choosing Gun Vault. Gerry Lara | Customer Experience Department
After sending them video evidence people have posted about this issue they just ignored me and never responded back . Do not trust this safe nor this company!

very good safe. I like the light for viewing the guns at night and the size of the safe is able to store two guns. I was able to bolt the safe to the shelf & keep it away from the grand children. the fact that you can put in your own password is very good feature. would recommend is prduct.

Good product
Very Secure, Nice features for the money. I can easily fit two full size pistols, each with several magazines as well as some important documents. Easy to program and to open. Just make sure you hide the backup key well if you have kids

This is the perfect size for multiple guns and has enough room to store my extra magazines as well.

Great little safe
Perfectly hold two full size handguns and extra mags. Setup is quick and easy. Mounting template is nice. Interior light is helpful.

Pretty Decent Safe!
The safe is made well. I especially like the light inside when you open the door. Now for opening the door- so far, each time I apply my code, the safe takes two successful code entries before it will pop open. I hope that this improves with use; this is not a deal breaker for me, but I do hope that it will improve with time.

I Like It
Got it on sale 3 weeks ago and so far am pleased with purchase. Holds 2 compact guns,3 boxes of ammo and a full size flashlight. Punch code works well and is quick. Decided against biometric version because of negative reviews. Will not deter a determined burglar but I feel comfortable knowing a child can not get to my pistols. Optics Planet delivery was prompt and packaging prevented any shipment damage.

I had a bracket manufactured so it could be hung vertically on my bed frame without taking up space on my night stand.

Meets my standards.
This safe works as expected. It's not $1000 safe, so don't expect it to be. I mounted mine with the provided hardware and template to my desk shelf next to my bed. I keep two handguns on the bottom level and one as a home defense gun on the top shelf. The light inside is pretty much useless, but that's ok. Keypad works pretty good and programming your own code is way easy.
