Hawke bubble level
I have been a competitive rifle and pistol shooter for many years so I've learned to purchase quality items if you want them to be rugged enough to survive in the field. I was a bit doubtful about what the quality of this level would be due to the price-point at which it was offered but have been...

Not level :(
I read the other review before purchasing all were good. When I received mine it was not level. I tried it on my Aero Precision AR and on my Ruger RPR and found that it did not show level on either rail after I leveled firearms to earth. Buy with caution, hopefully mine was just a dud.
Solid unit for the price, waiting for more data to see if it helps my league score
I've been running this bubble level on my pellet rifle for league shooting the past couple of weeks, and my scores have improved. It's helping me stay consistently level, which seems to make a difference even at shorter ranges.
The rail attachment has stayed rock-solid so far—no loosening or shifting during sessions. I was initially concerned about it not folding down, but it's proven to be a non-issue. I just store the rifle in its case with the level pointed into the egg carton foam padding, and that protects it perfectly without any hassle.
Even with my up-close vision not being what it used to be, I can still clearly make out the bubble position while looking through the scope—it's visible enough without straining. Overall, it's a simple, reliable addition that's seems to be paying off in better groups. Time will tell if the gains keep coming, but I'm optimistic. Recommended for anyone looking to dial in their cant without overcomplicating things.

Easy, accurate, and cost effective
Easy to attach and remove, quality construction, and good price. Thoughtful features such the additional center bubble mark that is easy to see in low light.

Trash, this is not level
Not level at all. Tried it on a weaver rail. The rest of this text is because they require a specific word count and is not worth reading. It’s not level at all and I threw it in the trash. It wasn’t worth the money that was spent on shipping.
Best Used for:
- Trash bin

Level Does Not Properly Engage Picatinny Rails
The bubble units base is approximately 2-3mm short of allowing good mate-up with units clamping element. Extreme cant of the clamping element is experienced, giving way to improper rail fit and erroneous read-out. I too was misled by those good/expert ratings. You may add Hawke Sport's offering to the long list of those who can't muster, since the passing of BSquare's good product... if you will.

Hawke Bubble Level
Best value out there. Be certain your rifle is level before you plumb your scope. Then use it to avoid cant. I put one on every target rifle I have. Small enough to put close to your eye so it can be checked with an easy glance. Be certain of the size of your rail. (This comes in more than one size...) You can spend more, but you won't do better...

Doesnt fit on weaver/picatinny rails
Does not properly fit on picatinny rail, once you screw it in one side is crooked and not flush, so I know this won’t be accurate. Just go ahead and buy the more expensive brand, I didnt because I only need it to level my rifle in the vise to level my scope reticle and then take this off, so I went the cheap route... MISTAKE. I like Hawke scope but this is junk!

Amazing value
As a retired SWAT sniper team commander and long range shooting enthusiast, I recently bought a Ruger Precision Rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor. At long range, it is imperative that your rifle is level if you hope to score good hits. I wasn't expecting much from this product due to its low price, but I was pleasantly surprised!
Pros:
- Very unobtrusive
Cons:
- Be careful not to bump it out of whack.

Good level
Great price for a decent bubble level for my mid range Ruger 5.56/223 precision rifle with a Leupold VX2 3-9X 40mm scope. It is very easy to install. Shipping from Optics Planet is always quick. Worked well after 200 rounds.
Pros:
- Low cost
Cons:
- None

OK product but could use some improvements
The level is nice and small and white line helps with seeing, It could use to be larger with all white lines the out side line are black with the center being white, where blacker red would be easer to see or. The air bubble needs to be larger to fill from line to line when level, it's hard to center the air bubble at a glance with having to center the air bubble with 1/8 of a inch on each side of the inside of the lines, That are fine black lines. I taped off lines and painted nail polish red closer to the center to help with centering.
2nd the mount need to be keyed where level and clamps come together with the lock screw. To help the dovetail clamp true level to the gun.

Hawke Bubble Level
These are a necessity on PCP airguns given the curvy trajectories. They work well.
Pros: Does the job. Is light weight. Is out of way.
Cons: Maybe clamp not as strong as Vortex levels.
