It Works Really Well
I was looking for a scope with a solid crosshairs reticle, and I picked this one when it was on sale here for around $350 - it was an acceptable gamble to me.
The solid reticle is fantastic for me. I used the illumination a little but, but didn't need it while zeroing. The reticle is thick enough that I was able to see it perfectly about midway through the zoom range.
That said. The knobs out of the box are a bit stiff. That'll probably cease to be a minor problem with use. When looking through the scope outside, I noticed there was some chromatic aberration. I haven't had the opportunity to shoot outside, so I don't know if this'll be debilitating in the future; but for just looking through it, it's not a problem.
