Hawke Vantage 4-12 x 50 rimfire subsonic.
I was originally attracted to this optic as a replacement for an ageing Simons scope as it has a drop compensating reticule. Much quicker to find a solution then changing the POI by changing elevation on the turrets. Fitted to a Ruger Precision Rimfire it is well suited to shots out to 200 yards with subsonic ammunition, CCI standard solid round nose. The reticule is spot on for this ammunition enabling first round hits at 200 without touching the turrets. Adding a clip on night vision extends the hunting use beyond sadism into the night. I am happy with this scope

I was recommend this scope by an older bench shooter for 22 bench rest shooting. I found it at Optics Planet for half the local gun shop price. Ordered it and it arrived very quickly. I installed it on a Savage Mark II heavy barrel in a Boyd’s At-One stock. Sighted in at 50 yards. It is clear and the rifle hits dead on. Great scope and will order another one from Optics in a few weeks.

Great scope for the price, extremely clear,good low light vision. Very good adjustments. Put this scope on a Ruger 260, it fits like it was made for this gun. Would recommend the scope to friends. Great value.

Nice scope for the money and BDC is accurate
I was curious how accurate the BDC was going to be. I mounted this on a Savage FV-SR 16” which I know this gun to be accurate. Used CCI green tag and standard velocity 22lr ammo. Also added a level to my setup since the this much hold over can be problematic if you aren’t level. I set targets out to 50, 100, 125, and 150. For the subsonic ammo I was using, the BDC was surprisingly accurate. On this 4-12 power scope, the glass is clear but towards 11&12 it gets a little finicky. Overall impressed with the scope.

Great scope for suppressed rifle with 1050 fps ammo
I got this optic to go with my Kimber rifle with Rugged Occulus Suppressor along with CCI Sub-sonic 1050 fps ammo. The etching of the reticle is crystal clear and the calibrations are very close to spot on for the CCI ammo.
While the eyepiece allows crystal clear focus of the reticle, at maximum power- I would love to have a focus on the objective lens.
