Most Helpful Positive Review Hawkins rings
Very nicely made rings, lightweight but robust. Quality workmanship. I installed them on a full auto AR15 WITH A 1X8 power Trigicon scope, and have fired about 700 rounds in full auto with no shift. Great product.

Great rings

by J-rod, Verified Owner from KY, United States Written on September 12, 2024
I have a few pair of Hawkins precision rings. They are super lightweight yet strong. I’m able get get my scope much closer to the barrel with these than leupold. Able to use these low rings with proof research mtr 7mm mag and Leupold vx-6. 4-24x52mm. Tried the leupold prw2 in low first and they were way too high. The height is supposed to be about the same according to specs but the Hawkins set much lower. The bubble level is a nice idea but if u don’t get the gap consistent between top and bottom half on each side it can throw off the level.

Ruggedness defined

Rugged. Larger clamp screws allow higher torque down values. The built in level is also a handy feature.
Pros:
  • Quality made
Cons:
  • none so far
Best Used for:
  • Precision / long range

best precision rings for the money

by 30Hart, Verified Owner from UT, United States Written on January 9, 2024
Extremely well built and visually appealing. The one to get is the offset bubble that doesnt impact the view of the elevation turret. Not the lightest ultralight set but close. Fit and finish is excellent and the packaging is perfect.
Pros:
  • Lightweight
  • well built
  • bubble level included
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Precision shooting
  • Long range hunting

hawkins precision hunter rings

by 30Hart, Verified Owner from UT, United States Written on January 8, 2024
Lightweight well made and bubble is out of the way of the turret...with bubble uncluded this is the best deal out there on a lightweight top of the line setup. Way cheaper than nightforce ultralights and the included bubble makes it a no brainer!!!
Pros:
  • Lightweight
  • Build quality
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • hunting

Hawkins ultralight rings

by ABC1000, Verified Owner from ID, United States Written on December 20, 2023
These things are awesome. Thats all there is to it. They’re very lightweight, but incredible sturdy. This is my third set of these. I’ve got these on short and long action magnums and on an ultralight rifle setup and they’ve withstood hundreds probably thousands of rounds without a POI shift.
I’ve got two pair of these on the Zeiss LRP S5 5-25 scopes (the biggest scopes out there basically) and another pair on a Niteforce NX8 4-32X50 on an ultraligjt 300 PRC with carbon barrel and carbon MDT HNT26 chassis… the whole gun weighs less than 9 lbs and they’ve held up perfectly. I’d absolutely recommend these rings and they don’t get enough credit.

I was worried at first that the bubble on top of the rear ring wouldn’t be great, but I can see it perfectly with ouch coming out of my shooting position before I squeeze the trigger.

I’ve backpack hunted a lot with these as well and they’re very sturdy.

by Jimmy, from AR, United States Written on June 19, 2022
This is my 3rd set of these, best value on the market in my opinion. I have used NF , BO and all the others and find these are gentle on the scope , good quality screws and priced right. Never had a set slip.
