So I would have given this product 4 stars if it weren't for HSG's borderline criminal MOLLE clips. The build quality of the pouch is great, they fit a variety of different size and caliber magazines, and the product seems like it will be incredibly durable. Now I am a bit concerned about magazines coming out of the pouches if I decide to crawl around, slide, or dive, as the magazine retention isn't great. Retention is all through friction, and it is relatively difficult to get the pouches sinched up perfectly with the elastic drawcords. Speaking of which, that's really the one component of this system that I'm worried about in terms of longevity. In my experience, elastic drawcords don't last a long time, especially if they are often exposed to the elements, such as water or UV light (sunlight).

Now the god-awful part: HSG's universal MOLLE clips are just...the worst. On their website, they claim to have fixed a terrible problem that no one else has been able to. They say that attaching to MOLLE with standard straps is SO difficult, so they "invented" a new, plastic clip that is just SO easy to install. But in fact, it is quite the opposite. I have never had any issues installing other components with standard MOLLE straps, which go on easily, stay in place, and can be removed with minimal effort. These plastic clips, however, are a pain-in-the-a$$ to get on and can only be removed with a screwdriver and pliers. And this product ships with these stupid clips instead of stan...

This is a must have equipment item. It will hold most box style mags. Mags are easily secured once you tighten down on the chords. Also, this are easily stacked or attached to molle. If you don’t already have one grab at least a set of these for your toolbox.

Fits just about any mag. Buy this once. Fit all your rifle mags. .308, 7.62x51, 5.56, .223, 7.62x39, 5.45x39, legitimately all mags work that ARE NOT Magnum magazines and it wouldn't suprise me if you got a magnum rifle mag to fit in a single. Absolutely brilliant.

Mounted to plate carrier securely. Doesn’t flop around. Holds the magazines nice and snug. I’m very happy and in fact ordered another set for a different load out. It fits both my ar magazines and my scar magazines.

I have used many mag pouches for different carriers. I come back to HSGI because they are very versatile. I can use Ar15 mags, ak mags and Ar10 mags. The pistol mags can also house a multitude of items. Versatility is huge when you have many tools in the gear box. These are very durable, light and the quality is excellent. Used these over many years.

Awesome product. Solid and durable love the stiffness and the peace of mind of not having to worry about the magazine falling out cause there isn’t any top or material over the mag. It almost feels spring loaded. Good retention.

Great product. Mags slide in and out perfectly. Little resistance just enough to keep them in place. I would recommend these to anyone. They are a lot better than a lot of the other mag holder I have used.

Excellent product would recommend to anyone looking for quality pouch. The multicam colors are nice and match all of my other gear. A bit pricy but worth the money for quality. I have also purchased many more other items, a reasonable price with fast shipping.
