I cannot express how much I love the pull of this trigger. Gentle, smooth first stage. Second stage is slightly firmer but still smooth before a break that's like shattering the first thin layer of ice to form on a pond in winter. I was concerned the cam over shaft spring system might be prone to failure with its complexity, but it is slick and solid.
That said, AVOID THIS ON AN 80% LOWER, unless you know its tolerances are darn near perfect, because this trigger needs all the space that exists in the cavity for the fire control group. This trigger revealed that work was out of spec after...

much better and different than expected
if you have sat at a bench or stand squeezing on the trigger with your crosshairs on a target or deer and wondered why the gun won't fire until you have to apply so much pressure you know you moved off target, then this tigger is for you. I love the 2 stage. after moving the trigger to stop in first stage you can naturally fire the rifle without much pressure at all. it is so smooth not like trying to get over a hill. It is a pleasure to shoot. I probably won't change the springs to smaller pressure pull because I like the green ones fine. I like the 2.5-3.0 lb first stage fine. It takes a few tries to get hammer in but not much different than standard trigger assembly. I have now bought three 2 stage trigger like this one and am very satisfied.

Good trigger but not ideal for bench rest
I've owned a few variations of Hiperfire and this one is one I like the least for bench rest shooting. The take up has more pre-travel which is great for non bench style shooting, isn't anything drastic but way more than my Mod-3 trigger. The Mod-3 is a better bench rest trigger for sure. This trigger would be great for a duty use or 3 gun style trigger. I'm not knocking any stars because there's nothing wrong with the trigger itself. It does perform as advertised, my expectations are biased based off better model triggers from Hiperfire for the type of shooting I mostly do, but the trigger itself for the right roll is solid. It pulls right at 3.5lb on my gage consistently, reset is short. I would buy again given the price point to put into my "duty" style weapon.

Hiperfire 2 stage trigger
I like Hiperfire triggers. There is not much movement in the first stage, so it feels more like a single stage trigger. I used the springs for the lightest pull weight and it works great for me. I let my buddy shoot it on the last trip to the range. I forgot to tell him about the trigger. He was surprised but he really liked it, also. He might want one for his rifle soon.

Solid improvement!
Easily installed with enclosed instructions, or you can use their video tutorials. I threw this in my 20' ar10 and it's a completely different animal now. Such a nice wall and super light pull. I haven't tried the heavier springs yet, but this was a major improvement to my rifle.
