Great addition
This sight was easy to install. Sprayed a little WD40 on old sight and tapped it out with a brass punch. The new one slides into place, apply a little medium strength thread lock to the screws and tighten down with a hex key.
This sight is great for quicker target acquisition and especially good for aging eyes.
bright, but not flush
The install of this sight was easy peasy, with a small punch and hammer, for max ease a table vice is recommended. I aligned the post dead center with some digital calipers and torqued the screws down about a 1/4 turn after “hand tight”. Packaging warns not to over tighten. Sight is much brighter than Ruger iron. Only complaint is there’s a ~1-2mm gap between the sight and the slide. Sight went in pretty easy with a few light taps, it’s a small complaint for a large improvement and it could somehow be my installation I suppose.

- putting caps in... you know the thing!

HiViz sight
Very pleased with Optics Planet prompt delivery. The sight fit very well and installation was easy. Greatly improved my ability to quickly acquire the front sight in my eyes. This sight made it much easier to get a good sight picture and center on the targets.

Decent sight
Install was easy and straightforward. Works as intended, if the target is back lighted you don't get the effect of the lightpipe. It has a good effect when glowing, I like it and would recommend. I prefer the red lightpipe over the green.

Relatively easy do-it-yourself install. But remember to file the bottom of the sight, if the sight does NOT slide in at least 1/3 of the way before tapping it with a nylon hammer & punch. The dot is bright, but small. It is an overall cheap upgrade that is worth the money.

Replacement sight
This is an easy replacement for the stock sight for a SR-22. My wife uses this handgun for target practice and she really likes how this front sight is easier to pick up. We are both old and need extra help picking up the target
