This sight is for my Walther PPQ M1. I would have given this sight a 5, but there is one problem. In order for the sight to be accurate, I had to insert a shim on the top of my slide. This is the second HiViz sight that I've ordered for my PPQ. Both have needed a shim to be accurate. The sight itself is great. I especially like the cover on the fiber to keep the fiber highly visible. My M&P came with a fiber optic front sight, and I have to replace the fiber a couple of times a year to keep it visible.

Bought one of these, it had problems, so I returned it and got another. Installed the second one on my Walther PPX and, working off a bench at 21 feet, I was 2 1/2" low. Put my regular sights back on and those were zeroed in. I wrote to Hiviz and they insisted these were the correct sights, even after sending them pics of the sights side by side, clearly showing a significant height difference. When measuring with a micrometer, my stock sights were .148 tall, while theirs were .181 tall. I got an RMA from Optics Planet and returned them without any hassle at all, they even paid the postage. Optics Planet was not to blame at all, it was a manufacturer issue. I gave a 3 star rating because the item looked awesome, bright, and highly visible when installed. Just not for my gun. I do business with Optics Planet when I can, and plan on doing more in the future. My issue had nothing to do with OP, the interaction with them was great.

I am very pleased with my purchase. The price was very reasonable compared to other front sights. The HiViz sight is doing just what I wanted. I purchased the green fiber optic and installed it myself with a Glock sight tool I picked up on e-bay for $8.00. The entire process of removing the factory sight and installing the new one took less than 5 minutes. In daylight and low light the sight shines like a beacon and allows quick acquisition of the target. I had previously purchased and returned a couple sets of nights that were great at night but did not compare with the sight picture provided by the HiVis sight. Optics Planet was very easy to deal with. They filled my orders promptly and processed my returns no questions asked.
