I have used Trail Marking Ribbon including the HME version for too many years to count. I have been thru cases of this stuff. Useful in marking day trails while scouting, to and from stand routes, running property section lines, blood trailing, flagging equipment or land areas needing attention. I have used so much of this stuff thru the year that the world is turning Orange. Beats being lost! Yes, I do use sometimes in combination with the HME trail marking glow trail pins. I am partially blind and prefer to not get lost. If on my family farm the tape stays up. But if used in State or Federal WMA hunts I put it in and take it out on way out on last afternoon of hunt.
Pros:
- Catches the eye, trail, property and gear marking. Cheap.
Cons:
- Could lead to littering if not taken down. Becomes brittle and loses color after being in the weather after several years.
Best Used for:
- Hunting and general marking.
