Good grip for deep concealment
I like this grip better than the stock rubber grip. It's helps with concealment and it has a little more cushion on the spine for comfort. Tha sides are a little slick but still works for me and helps with taking the pistol in and out of my holster because it wouldn't stick to any clothing.
No sure what happened
Went to put the grip on and the fit was way too tight. I have a feeling the back cushion wasn't in right. Either way it didn't fit right and got stuck on the gun. Had to pry it off and ruin it.

Great for concealability, less so for ergonomics!
This boot grip is smaller than the Hogue rubber finger grooved grip that comes with the Ruger LCR in both width and length. That means it's better for concealability, but I find it less comfortable in hand. The grip that comes with the Ruger LCR feels more comfortable and fills the hand more, but is much less convenient for my ankle carry in a Galco Ankle Lite. The hard rubber sides of this grip are also less comfortable than the total soft-ish rubber of the factory grip. Comfort or concealability, you pick!
Pros:
- Small
- Concealability
Cons:
- less comfortable
- not hand filling
Best Used for:
- concealed carry
