Upfit of a wood stock 10/22
A very cost effective upgrade from the standard wood stock w/ barrel forearm ring. Very nice option from Hogue.
Pros: 10/22 dropped in w/o any modifications, final fit was as if it was designed that way, Nice looking/asethics

It’s a good stock but…
I had to use a 7/32 drill bit because the screw wouldn’t fit through the hole, but other than that it’s a comfy, easier to grip and hold, and much better that the block of wood stock that Ruger provides from the factory.

Great 10/22 upgrade
Let’s face it; the factory wood stock on a 10/22 is not its greatest attribute. The rubberized material of the Hogue Overmolded stock is a huge improvement in grip texture and overall feel of the rifle. If you’re sensitive to smells, you may want to leave it out in the garage for a week or so as it does have a bit of a new tire scent to it. This is s definite must have 10/22 upgrade! OpticsPlanet had great price, free shipping and really fast shipment.

Excellent stock at the right price
I love the look of my Ruger with this stock. The fit is perfect and accuracy excellent. The price was comparatively low. The tacky rubber feel of the stock makes it easy to hold securely. The stock dimensions fit me perfectly. At 30 yards, accuracy was less than 1 inch.

Stock replacement
Had a duck unlimited stock. Replaced with hogue because this is a working rifle.stock is very comfortable to hold and carry.rifle shoots very good with this stock not loose and slick in hand.if I can going to find one for a ruger I have replace it.this is a working stock

Hogue makes the 10/22 even better!
This tock is very well proportioned, easy to install, and has excellent ergonomics and "gripping" texture. It is not a target stock. It is best suited for small game hunting and plinking in MHO...You can not do better for the price. It works.

Great and cost effective stock!
Great stock for the money, had a really positive feel that gives a lot of control. Very compact with good rubber finish. Looks great as well! My only concern is really the long term durability of the rubber finish. While it feels great now, I think over time it may start to peel but only time will tell. The pistol grip like geometry really helps you get leverage on the stock that can help with control and pointability. When not used for hunting, almost feels like it would be good for self defense.

Great improvement from the original factory synthetic stock. One of the best modifications to make for your 10/22.

Hogue 10/22 stock
Great upgrade from smooth wood stock that was hard to grip. All weather design,easy to hold onto rifle in all conditions. The rubber compound is extremely sticky and dirt and debris stick to it a bit too much but it is a trade off for serving the purpose of being an all weather stock that you can hold and maneuver easily in the field. Very easy too clean material. Love this product. It is a 100% improvement over original wood stock.
