A very good deal.
I enjoyed buying this handguard for my.40 AR PCC build. It gave it a new design that I was looking for and it looks sleeker. It was easy to install and I didn't have any difficulty.

This is exactly what look and feel I was looking for. I purchased the Rifle length forearm and used it with a 16 inch barrel and looks awesome. I will purchase for my next build. The feel of the knurled tube is great.

Exceptional handguard
I have never had a lighter Ar until I put this on. It's at a perfect length and the feel of it is great. I ordered more products from Hogue after this purchase. You cant go wrong with this handgaurd. Buying more! ASAP

Love it. Tough as nails solid as a rock
It’s a quality product for the right price. It changes the feel of your rifle when installed - I think for the better. I’d compare it to an A2 stock vs an M4 adjustable stock just solid. It went on easy enough. A vice block is necessary. The provided strap wrench should be thrown in the trash upon opening the packaging. It doesn’t flex, it doesn’t move, it doesn’t budge one bit, it will not come loose, I’m not going to test it, but I’m pretty confident that a hard hit/drop wouldn’t phase it.
Pros:
- Best option for a free float hand guard in my opinion others just do not mount properly. This thing isnt some thin metal held on with screws, its your new barrel nut with a hand guard attached.
Cons:
- It is not light - if you care about that sort of thing
- No provision for mounting accessories. Due to the nature of how it mounts (screws on) alignment would be an issue. Its not like you couldnt drill some holes and install some rails if you really wanted to

Just what I was looking for. It free floats the barrel, priced right and high quality. If you are not into hanging accessories off your rifle this works great. Hogue products are always high quality, I've never had issues with anything
from them. An assembly tool comes with the forend but I found it much easier to use a standard strap wrench.
