Most Helpful Negative Review Hogue 66000 Monogrip Grip
I have bought many Hogue grips over the years and was very satisfied with them UNTIL NOW! I read a lot of mixed reviews about this grip, but it was the only one I could find that was supposed to fit my Taurus 66 revolver, so I bought it. Sorry I did... it was hard to assemble making many attempts to fit the odd mounting attachment onto the handle. After getting lucky on about the 10th attempt, I was able to insert the screw and tighten, but when tightened to where it felt secure the grip fit wonky with loose spacing on the frame and made noise. SMALL FINGERS ONLY!!!

This grip is only made for someone with small fingers so beware. Installation is easy as long as you follow the directions. Some have reported that the grip bows out on the sides when installed, and I had this issue until I removed the supplied spacer. Not it fits perfectly on my model 66 Taurus. It's amazing how much better I shoot with this grip over the factory one.
Pros: Fits my hand like a glove
Cons: Does not fit most others
Would recommend: Yes

HOGUE DELIVERS

I put these on my Taurus .44 mag and couldn't be more satisfied. Noticeable improvements in accuracy, balance, felt recoil and the grip is extremely comfortable. I would highly recommend this product.
Pros: comfort, improves accuracy and felt recoil
Cons: a bit tticky to install

Little tabs in the base of prevent perfect fit initially. I had to trim them a little, but it worked out fine in the end. I like the slimness of it for improved concealed carry.
Pros: Slimmer than original, fits my smaller hand better, recoil absorbing
Cons: Somewhat difficult to fit. Fit wasn't perfect but what can be expected from a generic grip
Would recommend: Yes
