Most Helpful Positive Review A Great Grip
I purchased this grip too replace the Talo grip that can on my S&W 686. The rounded Talo didn't feel well with the weight of the 5-in revolver. The Hogue squared-butt grip made a huge difference in feel and was similar to the older S&W revolver wooded grips with the square butts. Pros: Perfect fit and feel Cons: none

Tames my Model 69

This thing is a must have if you have a model 69. Turns it into a while new beast. For me it increased control because I have hot dog fingers. Easy to swap out with factory grip, it's so good I ordered another for my 686.

Solid, comfortable grips.

I have installed these grips on all four of my K frame Smith & Wesson revolvers. The finger grooves match my hand perfectly (med. large) and the width/thickness is also very good for me. Folks with larger or smaller hands might prefer the grips without finger grooves. The rubber used in these grips is firm enough for a solid hold but still helps to absorb some of the recoil.

I wanted a new look for my Smolt Model 66-1 and changing the original grips was how I did it. The grips are very nice to look at and the feel is comfortable. I love it!
Pros: Improved the look of my Smolt and the grip is comfortable.
