Most Helpful Positive Review Excellent Hogue Grips
I ordered these for a GP100 Match Champion and couldn't be happier. While the original stock one piece wood grips are very nice, these have a slimmer profile and work better for smaller hands. Great product and another smooth transaction with OpticsPlanet.

Gotta Have

The standard grips for the GP100 look great but suck when full house loads are fired. Bruised knuckles and stinging hands don't work for accuracy or speed. This is my second set of grips and they flat work. Not pretty but combined with stainless steel the make the revolver bomb proof in weather give you a handle when heavy loads are needed fast.
Pros:
  • Hand fit, slips right on, sized perfectly for the gun
Cons:
  • Why don't all GP100's come wtih this grip??
Best Used for:
  • If you are really going to shoot your GP, you need this grip.

Hogue Ruger GP100/Super Redhawk No Groove Grip

by Forest Worker, from OR, United States Written on October 7, 2021
Good quality and reasonable price. I recommend this grip for non-magnum revolvers and magnums up to .357. I recommend the Hogue Tamer grip for larger caliber magnum revolvers. The texture of the rubber and the design of the grip permits supports a firm hold on the handgun but does not have the energy absorbing characteristic of the Hogue Tamer grip. Simple installation with easy to follow instructions. If you don't mind a finger grip style, spend a little more money and buy the Hogue Tamer grip if you shoot a heavy recoiling magnum revolver.
Pros:
  • Price and install ease
Cons:
  • None for me
Best Used for:
  • non-magnum revolvers

Better than the factory grip!

by Cam Beul, from KY, United States Written on May 27, 2018
I purchased this grip to replace the factory panel type grip that was on my new Ruger GP100. I liked this grip better than the other Hogue option that has the finger groves, I am not a fan of finger groves. This grip went on easy with no issue. The grip angle is nice too and it makes the gun even more pleasurable to shoot.
Pros:
  • Grippe, angle is nice and looks sharp!
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Every application

Super Redhawk No Groove Grip

by SRW, Verified Owner from IA, United States Written on December 23, 2016
The factory grips on 44 mag Super Redhawk were to small for my hands. I don't care for finger grooves so I was glad to find these grips. They are much better for controlling recoil and supporting the weight of the gun.
